Beautiful hotel, everything has been thought out to the detail, amazingly located in Falésia, with pine trees all over and beach 2 min walk with direct access. Very attentive staff and food is simply delicious, breakfast and also dinner. The spa has this zen feeling and staff is super friendly. It was my 5th stay at this hotel and will surely come back again.

The hotel was as expected, very friendly staff. We arrived early but the lady accommodated us almost straight away. It was so peaceful yet only less than a minute walk to the main strip. The breakfast was very nice and Mohammad was a very caring and courteous host. The room was very comfortable as was the bed. Beautiful decor throughout and spotlessly clean.

We love the bungalows in the freshness of the pinewood forest, the proximity of incredible cliff beaches the restaurant and the care in all things. On the other side of the balance, is the Team, young, intelligent and attentive. A special thank to Mr Raj, whom we had the privilege to know, and to attend to His Yoga Class, in camp. The hotel was lovely, extremely clean and had a nice relaxing vibe about it, we had a thunder storm while there so the fact the hotel was nice helped with being stuck inside. Hotel is really quite and the beach outside looked really nice, hotel restaurant was lovely and meal was really nice and its facing the beach so the views are stunning. The Spa was really nice also.

We had two rooms, one in the older building and one in the newer building. Both had its pros/cons but the overall expirience was really nice. Complimentary water and minifridge in room makes me always give extra points to the score. Enjoyed both the pool and beach in front of hotel. Busy tourist area within walking distance and you can take escalators down. Good parking.

The animation team were exceptionally friendly to both adults and children . I liked being able to drop off my son to the kids club and then going to work out classes where the staff were super helpful and professional . The old town was lovely and the beaches great but overall I was disappointed in Albufeira. I thought there would have been more to do but there wasn't. It felt more like a beach holiday than a city break. We travelled in November so it might have been to do with being out of season. A lot of venues, trips etc were closed or not on offer at this time of year. The marina was a 30 minute walk and that was where you picked up the tours for the dolphin and cave trip. Some tours offer a pick up from your hotel but we were in an apartment so this didn't apply to us. The bus station is also a 25 minute walk uphill from the old town. Albufeira was also very expensive to eat and drink but the quality of the food was very good. I'm glad I saw it but I don't think I would return.

Amazing base for exploring the Algarve region by car.

Amazing base for exploring the Algarve region by car. There were so many restaurants in Lagos accessible by foot, and nice little shops. Try Casinha do Petisco (but book before) if you love seafood, churrasqueira Praca d'armas for local and casual peri-peri chicken, and Taninos for a slightly fancier meal. We mainly drove out of Lagos to go hiking along the South/Southwest coasts. We went in November so it was low season but we still have sunny weather and temperatures of 15-18 degrees, so perfect for if you're active. I would recommend kayaking or hiking. Visit the Ponte de Piedade. We did the seven hanging valleys hike and also kayaked to the Benagil cave, we went to Sao Vicente and Algar Seco.

Amazing how most people have patience for strangers to go out of their way to help guide us in every day tasks and with smiles. I am truly grateful for the Portuguese people I met in my life. The ruins of the ancient castle overlooking the town...

The ruins of the ancient castle overlooking the town enhances the dreamlike feeling of this very old town. Just wandering the streets is enough, but then there is terrific hiking. Ideal for those who like heritage and outdoor adventure in the "real" Portugal outside of the large City. And then there are the people, who could not do enough to help.

Easy to get around, lovely beach, lots of beautiful places to eat. We stayed for 4 days and it was a perfect amount of time as we didn't plan any day trips. Bolt taxi - an excellent service and we would highly recommend the Wyndham Hotel.

Sagres is beautiful.

Sagres is beautiful. Perfect for people who are not afraid of wind or cold water. Because of that you find yourself in places with not too many people and always have more than enough space in the beach. Some beaches are full of trailervans but people are nice and chill.

Our visits to Armacao de Pera have been out of season so reasonably quiet, perfect for us. The beach is one of the longest in the Algarve plus a boardwalk which extends for miles. Excellent for those who want long walks. There are small more sheltered sections of beach immediately in front of the central area for sunbathers and swimmers. Wide selection of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of central accommodation. Large Lidl supermarket close to front with a large selection of smaller supermarkets and shops in the central area. Recently completed car park on beach front costs but convenient. Not as lively as some resorts and not to everyone's taste, but we like it.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.

Wonderful

Wonderful Village lots of walks and old cathedral magic wonderful open air pool perfect , lunch at a wonderful restaurant that has a grill and lovely balcony called palhmerina in centre of town great potty studio and gardens as well
