Hotel is near IPB Institute politehnic Braganza. Almost for 15 minutes are at IPB, 25 minutes for centar of Braganza. Hotel is small but very clear and with very good breakfast. Owners brother and sister are very familiar. All workers are very nice and hospitality is on the first. See you again.

Being right in the small village and seeing all the locals. Baker came into town and all the locals called us down to buy bread. The fruitera came in so bought fruit. Great bathrooms great bbq, kitchen is useable and has all the implements required. Supermarkets are about 25 minutes away in Braganca. Luis ( our host) took us across the border to drop off honey and then took us to two of his 16 hive locations. A great memory, he is a special bloke. Luis stayed for rabbit stew one night and our guests were from Chile and Texas. Gerald spoke Portuguese so we could converse easily with our host it was so good. The hiking trails are amazing book this place if you can. A very enjoyable stay.

Everything is amazing. The house itself, the rooms (beautifully designed), the terrace, the breakfast (those toasts with that delicious Casal de Palácios olive oil are something to die for)… Probably the best places I’ve stayed in years. Definitely going back when traveling to that region again.

Perfect tranquilty.
Perfect tranquilty. Quiet village in National park outside of Braganca (20 minute drive). Very comfortable house with all facilities in Kitchen as per advertised. Excellent host. Luis is a gentleman and took great care to ensure the stay was great. Gave full privacy but responded immediately to requests! Even had flat tire on my hire car fixed for me, with no charge. Great fireplace. Wood delivered to door each day. Booked for two nights and stayed for four. Wish I could have stayed longer. Highly reccomend!

A great base for visiting the Montesinho Nature Park.
A great base for visiting the Montesinho Nature Park. A hiking trails starts in Palacios, there are several other in a short distance. Rio de Onor and Matosinhos, two most frequently visited places in the Park are located in the short driving distance, if you like historical towns the Bragança is also close by.
Two good restaurants (Lombada and O Rustico) in a walking distance (but note that will be completely dark when you come back after a dinner).
