CanadaEverything was perfect. We had both rooms in the main hotel and in the villas, and they were both beautiful, clean and comfortable. The view is glorious. There were no bears around the property as in past years. The spa is awesome, especially the saunas. The food is so good, and the main restaurant is gorgeous. We also tried the pizza place in the new building and it was delicious and the view was glorious. We'll be back!

Nestled in Transylvania, this restored set of Castles and the enormous estates & forest around it are a true natural paradise.
Food was excellent as was the service. We stayed in one of the restored rooms of the Machine Room full of old world charm. They also have newly constructed rooms.
We had wonderful bear sightings with the Ranger from the Estate

Everything is wonderful about this place. The surrounding nature, the building, the fireplace, the tiled stoves, the furniture, the jacuzzi, and the sauna: a mixture of great vibes from simpler times and modern comfort.
We also ordered lunch from our host and were served excellent Székely meals.

A dream come true for us <3 Beautiful garden with 5 wonderful dogs. A short walk through the forest to a 1000 year old pagan fortress ruin or to a natural bathing reservoir (20 lei entrance fee). Hank and Andrea were great hosts, helpful and friendly and all the facilities were satisfactory.

The room was clean .
The restaurant downstairs was rustic and all the food we end up ordering was warm and delicious .

We visited Balvanyos to spend a few quiet, relaxing days...
We visited Balvanyos to spend a few quiet, relaxing days together, and we were truly impressed by one of the most complete SPA facilities we've encountered in Romania. The Forest restaurant exceeded our expectations, offering a refined culinary experience. Our room was clean and charming, though it had one drawback — the lack of air conditioning. Although the fan-coil unit had a cooling option, it didn’t function properly and merely circulated air.
The staff deserves top marks, consistently warm and attentive. Unfortunately, some guests did not match the atmosphere of the resort. Children entered areas reserved for adults, some individuals were seen vaping or using electronic cigarettes, and a few overly exuberant young women created a vibe that felt out of place in a space meant for peace and rejuvenation — causing me, at times, to cut my SPA visits shorter than I would have liked.

Sadly, 31st of December everything was closed. No attractions to attend, even the most recommended restaurant (Pince / Pivnița / The Cellar) was closed. Șugaș Băi, a close spot to attend was also deserted.

It is one of my favorite places.
It is one of my favorite places. The town is small but it has two very good restaurants, a pharmacy museum, an old church and it is very clean and quiet. It is very close to Tusnad Spas, St. Ana lake, Miercurea Ciuc, Brasov, pasul Musat.

Very much liked the property itself, the lake, the walkways, the room. We scheduled a carriage ride with a picnic and it was a great experience. Food was delicious as was the wine and our driver Ionuț a great guide!

A bit outside the city, we loved visiting the extinct volcano (super spectacular!) and the fortress was also interesting if you enjoy history. Lacul de smarald (Emerald Lake) is really green and worth visiting.
The Reformed Church in Talisoara was quite welcoming and worth visiting if you speak Hungarian…
Would have enjoyed visiting some of the traditional workmen/artisans as offered, but we came over the Easter holiday so we will have to make another visit. :)

This place is great if you come to relax and recharge, in peace and quiet, as there is no ‘entertainment’ per se, except the beautiful and peaceful nature surroundings. So if you’re looking for fun and exciting stay, this might not be for you. Make sure to check out their library and spa. Also ask for the animal viewing by horse carriage - this was exciting

Location is amazing, in the middle of the nature, quiet, clean, with everything you need.
Reception staff at check-in was bored, did not smile or welcome us at the property. We needed to ask multiple questions to find out basic information (breakfast time, SPA schedule, etc) all which should have been provided without asking.
Breakfast options are very diverse
Restaurant food is really delicious.
SPA can get really crowded and loud / noisy.

I love Sf Gheorge (SEPSI).
I love Sf Gheorge (SEPSI). The city is very clean, the people are very polite. The city is not crowded like Brasov with tourists and I like the tranquility this city has. I would love to live here. No issue travelling by car and plenty of car parking spaces available in the city.
