Saunas were also very good.
The receptionists were helpful and friendly. We were advised a New Year's Eve dinner at a hotel next door and it was excellent. We can recommend the hotel to anyone. Beautiful nature and a pleasant little town around.
We'll be coming back for a summer stay.

BrazilThis place was incredible. We were alone in there, so we had the bedroom and bathroom to ourselves. Everything was new, extremely clean, so nice. The host was the best person, very friendly, received us so well and gave great recommendations of places to go. The location is very close to the city center and a walking distance to nice places to visit. Everything was perfect and Bovec is a beautiful city surrounded by amazing nature. Highly recommend.

Nestled in the Julian Alps, tourist farm Kranjc is an amazing place to base your Soca valley stay. Ursca and Irene are incredibly warm and accommodating hosts - they upgraded our room free of charge when circumstances prevented them from being able to offer dinner. The breakfast is delicious, and many, if not most, dishes are made from products from their own farm. The surroundings are beautiful, and there is a lot to explore in the area and in Kobarid. We will absolutely stay there again if we re ever in that part of the world again.

Nebesa Chalets is an absolute paradise! The views over the Soča Valley are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is pure tranquility. The chalets are beautifully designed, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a perfect retreat.
We especially loved the self-service wine and cheese selection—it was a unique and thoughtful touch.
This was one of the most peaceful and memorable getaways we’ve ever had. Thank you for an incredible experience! We can’t wait to return.

We stayed in the apartment lodge in the garden. It was gorgeous, the thought that has gone into the little details in the surrounding gardens and decor is impeccable. The furnishings are luxurious and the host is fantastic. He gave us details of where we could get gorgeous local food to cook in their outdoor kitchen which is also fabulous. The only thing we regret is not staying a second night. Ideal for a couple.

The house was easy to find, and having free parking was a great bonus.
Grandma was incredibly sweet, even though we couldn’t communicate much due to the language barrier.
The house itself is beautiful, with a spacious balcony and a warm, homely atmosphere.
We were welcomed with a drink and cookies on arrival, and even received a lovely souvenir when we left.

We had a really bad experience with the canyoning (all of our belongings were stolen) and the people from camp were there for us and offered us help. They were lovely and had had the best crisis management. We could borrow bikes to get around because we didnt had access to out car and they helped with the car and evrything - THANK YOU AGAIN

Large parking area, apartment was good size and superclean. Soft and nice beds, kitchen had everything we needed. Apartment location was close to the city centrum, only 5 minutes walk. Superfriendly host and calm and safe area to stay. I would defentely reccomend!

Kobarid is a nice little town situated on Soča river between Tolmin and Bovec. There are numerous possibilities of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, paragliding, kayaking or simply taking a dip in stunningly turquoise Soča. Short drive to Nadiža river which is also beautiful. Kozjak waterfall and hanging bridges are obligatory to visit.

Log pod Mangartom is an excellent base for all adrenaline activities. It’s a small place without nightlife, making it an ideal location for sports and outdoor enthusiasts. There are many foreigners, and it is filled with positive energy because the natural surroundings make you forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Kobarid is a very charming place, ideal for an active vacation. However, there aren’t many cycling routes separate from the main road, which can sometimes feel inconvenient or less safe. Compared to other nearby towns, Kobarid is quite small.

Bovec is a great location - lovely small town with beautiful views and great activities in the surrounding areas. We particularly liked the white water rafting and would recommend giving it a go. Definitely see myself returning to Bovec some time.

No restaurants at all available (back in 2018 in Hotel Alpine there were awesome pizzeria), no shops - nearest is 12 km away in Bovec, church bells wake you up in 7 AM. Surrounding area is extraordinary beautiful, air is and water are first class.

Kobarid is a nice town by the river Soca with only cca 1000...
Kobarid is a nice town by the river Soca with only cca 1000 inhabitants, but as a regional center the town serves a cca 5000 heads strong community.
Worth to visit the Kobarski Muzej (WWI museum), the town center with the church, restaurants and very very good ice cream. Do not miss to climb up to the church and Italian monument, check out the Napoleonov most (Napoleon's bridge) and the Slap Kozjak (Kozjak waterfall). These are all accessible on foot. You can also take a tour following a marked hiking trail, see the beautiful nature, the mountains, the emerald color of the Soca river, historical monuments line WWI trenches and forts all along the river.

Great location for walking, rafting, kayaking etc. It's a pretty town centre with two small supermarkets, and two big ones just on the edge of town. The cable car isn't working right now - might be a while before it is back in action. But the Soca River has to be seen to be believed - just amazing. The local tourist office were really helpful too. The range of restaurants is a bit limited - burgers seem to be the common theme - but the quality is great, if not the variety!! Great bar, Thirsty River, in the middle of town. Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Felix Bar a great place with good food too.
