the accommodation was in a wonderful, clean mountain environment. they welcomed us warmly and with homemade liquor. the staff was so nice and helpful, they really helped us with everything. at the reception you can buy homemade jams and some meat products. the small restaurant on the ground floor is very cozy, you can have good food and drinks there. the room will take your breath away with its view. everything is clean, the bed is comfortable. at breakfast you are treated like a king, you can choose from homemade products, meat, salami, yogurts and homemade jams, etc. I was very pleased with the fresh croissants. They have an amazing dog Tami - we played with her every day. this hotel will leave you with a wonderful pleasant feeling, you won't want to leave. we will definitely come back here again

Perfect location, perfect location, perfect location. Good comfortable 4 star hotel that is set in gorgeous surroundings. Probably one of the hotels we have most enjoyed staying at ever. The hotel is set against a beautiful waterfall that we could hear from our bed at night. Nice sound to be falling asleep.

We had to change plans at the last minute and our request to postpone our stay by 2 days was graciously accepted. We had a very warm welcome. We enjoyed a copious breakfast at whatever time we wanted and were even offered to take leftovers with us for lunch which was greatly appreciated.

Great walks up the three valleys that are close bye. We had coffee in the information centre in Solcava - staff were excellent. Did the scenic road looking down over the valleys - well worth the drive up and down.

The area is beautiful and hiking and biking is great.
The area is beautiful and hiking and biking is great. The grocery stores are severly lacking on fresh proteins. We cook alot and didn't like having to purchase plastic coated packaged meats. A decent butcher and pharmacy were at least 30 minutes away.

An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. A bike or electric bike that can be rented is the most convenient means of transportation here.

The best appartment we’ve stayed in Slovenia. We’ve stayed in 4. Very spacious, impeccable cleanliness, equipment, cutlery, furniture. Absolutely enjoyable experience. The host is super nice. Totally recommendable.

Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley.
Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.
