I had a great experience at this hotel! The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The staff was really nice snd helpful, helping me to organise transportation and they had really good laundry service. The pool is lovely especially since the beaches are not so great for swimming and there are many cheeky monkeys so I spend a lot of time at the pool and loved it. Great value for money, would always come again 😊

The lady there and her employee are amazing, so kind and listening. The room was clean and with a lot of space. The beach is 2 minutes away and you can rent a motorbike there if you need. And the food she serve is so good. We really love staying there.

Everything, it is difficult to note it all down. Addy, the amazing soul of the place, was helpful before we even got there. We had difficulties getting to Kho Lanta on the day we wanted to get there, so she organized a driver for us. During the stay, she was very nice, upgraded our room and just gave us the possibility for a late checkout for free. We had to do some laundry and she took care of that completely, we only dropped the laundry in the morning and got it back nice and clean in the afternoon. There are motorbikes you can rent from the hotel and they are in very good shape. The rooms are luxurious, huge, very nice design, the bathroom is totally amazing, very much space and you have a place to put towels which make sense. This might sound weird but I've seen so many bathrooms where you cannot put your towels, or they are at places where you really don't need them. There is a terrace in front of each room, with nice and clean furniture. The entire area is very nice, clean and well taken care off. I would definitely recommend the place!!

We travel as backpackers and as a couple. We just loved it here. The staff is so nice and they do their best to help you! There were only three more guests staying in Cicada Lanta and only us having booked the stay with breakfast, so they opened their kitchen every morning only for us. Very cute! We even booked two more nights, as we felt so comfortable and on ease. The huts are very basic. You'll find everything you need. They are exactly how they look on the pictures and it's very clean. I loved it that the huts are made of wood. And there are so many handmade details everywhere - absolutely fantastic. We do have enough concrete at home. So this just fits so much better! I also love how they created the garden area. We would often sit on our little porch in front of the huts and enjoy the garden or do Yoga. I really don't like all these big resorts coming up. So if you look for a more authentic place but still kind of like to have it clean and nice: This is the place to stay! 🫶🏽

The villa was very nice size. Bathroom was huge. The plunge pool is quite fun. A little bit overdone with chemicals so we did not really use it. The outside shower is also super fun, very liberating :) Each villa is surrounded by bushes, plants and greenery, it gives nice seclusion. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Fruits, salads, hot dishes, continental options, egg station for freshly made eggs of any kind, waffle station, juices. Beach side is well kept. Plenty of sunbeds, though the ones in the first row that have the elastic nets are taken pretty quickly but there are many more. Sunny and shady area too. The beach itself is fantastic, easy access, fairly quickly deep water. No chance of snorkeling, nothing to see unfortunately. The entire Long Beach is perfect to walk along day or night. There are really nice and inexpensive restaurants directly on the beach. The main road is a short walk away. You can find huge fruit stand in about 15 min walk distance, right across of Mother Marché (grocery store). You can always catch a tuktuk on the main road. Hotel staff is really nice, it was a super choice to spend our vacation days here.

Staff were all helpful and friendly consistently, patient and attentive. June, the manager took care of booking and all typical requirements consistently, and provided extra care for us elderly couple. We were in one of the quietest cabins at the rear of the site, with more forest cover too to see wildlife, mostly monkeys and birds, and 2 resident cats! Rooms nearest the pool and beach, ideal for families, occasionally noisier of course, but not too seriously. Huge beach is very quiet. Food was excellent with wide choice of Thai and European meals at reasonable prices, with good cheap beer, but rather more expensive than usual cocktails. Wide choice at breakfast too, included in the price. The site is at the southern more forested and less commercialised end of the island, and the National park is a worthwhile day out at the southern tip, though the walk on the nature trail is difficult.

The staff were always smiling, very nice and kind. Massages at the spa were divine! You can hear the sea during it and it's the best experience. Sunsets are beyond beautiful. Lym's restaurant is a separate establishment, but works very well in symbiosis. Their food is amazing and we loved the prices too! Coconut just 60 baht, and same for the beer during happy hour. Escape cafe was also wonderful with their craft coffees. We wish Long Beach Chalet a long and prosperous business and we hope to come back one day.
