I was welcomed so warmly by Mar, one of the staff members, who showed me around the resort, answered all my questions, and gave me great local tips. She was incredibly kind and genuine, and thanks to her I felt comfortable and at home right away.
The resort itself is beautiful — you have one of the most gorgeous beaches right in front of you, and it’s such a peaceful place to relax and recharge. Everything was just perfect, clean and calm. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I can’t wait to come back!🩵

They also provide public toilet and prayer room that can be used after check-out. The breakfast is fairly simple but complete. The resort is like a chalet.. they are a few chalets in the premises.. ours is nearer to the pool... sad thing is that when we are there it rain heavily so we cant take much picture. FinlandReally, really nice experience: stick and spam clean little rooms just on the beach, and an amazing lovely, helpful host. Neem, the lovely host, volunteered with a range of things to do and how to arrange our onward trip to Koh Lipe. She arranged transport for us to the pier, free of charge, and was hands down the loveliest host I have ever had. Thank you so much to her and this lovely little gem of a place! We also really enjoyed the outdoor sitting area with swings as seats.

We had some issues with the transport, which was fixed with the help of the personel. Upon arrival even got an upgrade to the poolroom, which was nice and clean. Good breakfast and good located nearby various restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a stay in Satun.

They will visit you from time to time to check up on you. The only payment they require is a pet or two. All and all an amazing place to stay for a really good price. Thank you

Our family absolutely loved this resort on our favourite island Lipe. This resort is terrific for families. Super clean abd large rooms. Our kids loved the enormous pool, which was nice and warm. The resort is beach front and we enjoyed many sunsets, whilst the kids played in the sand and swam. The 'Walking Street' is just a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful and our children loved seeing the towel art that housekeeping left them each day. House keeping were great and very generous with towels. This side of the island has a lovely ambience and is protected from stingers. We suggest walking along to the other side of the beach to Sanom Beach. It's stunning, quiet and has no stingers there. It also a great spot for snorkelling. The hotel staff meet you at then port, take your luggage and walk you to the hotel lobby. We recommend for families.

Breakfast was excellent. Lot of choices. Greatly appreciated the cook (young lady) who was doing fresh cooked omelet of our choices every day.
We also encountered a technical problem with the air conditioner (no cool air was coming out) on our second night. We woke up sweating. When talking about the problem with the front desk, they sent a technician on the spot. He couldn’t fix it. They gladly change us into a new room for a last night. The gesture was really appreciated. We again thank them for their efficiency. We had a bad 2nd night and we were able to rest and had a good night of sleep before our departure. Thanks to all the staff at Chareena.

We like absolutely everything, workers there are amazing. They always meet us with a huge smile and really make sure that we have a great day. Food was very good and really cheap for a hotel. Drinks/cocktails is very good. And the hotel feels very safe. Looks like the staff and workers in all levels realy enjoy their work because it doesn't feel fake when they smiling and do the very best for their customers. Location is perfect, very good beach and only a few min away from walking street. If or when we come back to lipe , this will be our first choice of hotels. We travel much in Europe and Thailand and this is the experience of year 2024. 😊

Loved everything about this hotel it exceeded our expectations! Our room was gorgeous and big with a nice balcony, the staff were so friendly and helpful! It was our honeymoon and they decorated the bed lovely ! Breakfast was good pancakes were lovely! Coffee wasn’t great but not the worst either ! A shuttle motorbike is available from hotel when it is needed ! Only negative thing I can think of is that the drinks in the bar were over priced compared to other parts of the island but I suppose it is understandable giving the location ! Thank you for a nice stay

Beautiful resort in a idyllic location. Spent a wonderful few days diving there, and a special shout-out to Paul, Tos, Jenny, and Sergei at the dive centre who made it an unforgettable experience with some excellent dives around the stunning reefs. Paul is a fantastic guide and instructor, so would recommend diving with them whether you’re a beginner looking to do your certifications or more advanced and just want to spend time underwater in breathtaking surroundings.

All the staff were fabulous… always willing and happy to help out with anything we needed. Food was excellent … beach was clean and tidy everyday… rooms were great… such a chilled and quiet place … 10 minute taxi into walking street provided free by hotel at 7.30 in the evening or you could walk down hill to the beach which takes 5 minutes and along Pattaya beach to walking street… snorkelling boat trip was sorted by hotel which was a brilliant day.

The resort is much better than it looks in the photos, being really on the seafront. The location is perfect as it is calm, the sea in front is great for swimming and the breakfast is perfect. Arriving by speed boat, a hotel employee can pick up your bags in a handcart and the hotel is less than 5 minutes from the port in front of the walking street.

We knew what to expect, but we spoke to several travellers...
We knew what to expect, but we spoke to several travellers who were disappointed. They expected pristine beaches and nature, and were taken a back how the locals are living on the island.
If you go prepared you won't be disappointed, and Ko Lipe should not be your only destination, 3 nights is more then enough. Enjoy!!!

It's no different from other coastal small towns with ample delicious and affordable local eateries but better still as a transit point to better interesting Kok Lipe and other islands for much more adventurous vacations.

I don't remember the city of Satun...
I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

Very beautiful island with stunning beaches and breathtaking views. Lot of local people and not so crowded in october compared to Phuket or other islands. However, it can be a bit dirty and old outside turistic areas. Overall a great way to see the beaches while also understanding the local life. Lots of restaurants and nice places on the walking street. The island is small and can be done by walking from almost any resort

A good place to relax and stop over before you go to Koh Lipe or Koh Adang. I would recommend Papaya Mom 2 Restaurant for delicious HALAL AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. A visit by walking or jogging near the Mu Ko Phetra National Park during sunset was awesome and great view.

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one...
I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

I was here in low season so 60% of bars and stuff were either closed or empty. Doesn’t matter there’s lots of nature to discover for the adventurous at heart. Diving, koh Adang, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling and lazy walks followed by legit massage

Good place to stay with your family on your vacation. Good eating place around the area such as: Papaya Mom, Rim Lay Kitchen & Restaurant, Nava Seafood, Bara Roti and few other restaurants. You can also go to Koh Lipe for the stay and some other water activities.
