This was part of a trip to Panama Beach FL, our second night out, on the way from Peterborough, ON Canada. Kind of retracing a general route we took in April, 1981. We had never been to The Outer Banks, so were unsure what to expect. Wonderful surprises as we approached from Virginia Beach area, and as we arrived in Kill Devil Hills. Beautiful area. Found out, though, we were a day early on our dates! Horror! My bad. I did the bookings. But the desk clerk was ever so helpful in getting us straightened out and into a room. Pleasant, friendly and making sure we were ok. We were hungry and he gave us a list of restaurants close by. But he said a lot of guests liked the Kill Devil Hills Grille directly across from the resort. Man, was he right! Had an excellent pub meal. And they were great there too! And then excellent breakfast in the morning to get us on our way. Wow!

It’s a beautiful property - ideally located for the driving traveller. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel relaxed but close enough to easily visit other places. The staff were truly lovely - extremely helpful and great senses of humour. The Spa was to die for too - so much so, I’ve booked appointments until I return home.

Location was great, short walk across the parking lot to the beach (our building wasn’t one of the few on the clubhouse side). Website said ocean view but our only view was the building in front of us, but not a big deal. Facilities were great, and we were happy the pool was open in early May.

The size of the room was great. The grounds were clean and peaceful, plus the staff was always ready to help. The equipment was clean and was taken care of very well. The pool was clean and the little water park was a fun extra. We enjoyed ourselves and definitely will be returning

From the receptionist to the cleaning personnel it was fantastic. Their courteous attitude was really amazing. The place was like a paradise. I already recommended it to some friends. 👍👏🏾

Loved being right on the beach! The room was spacious and comfortable! Was nice to have the coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave in the room. Very large bathroom.

Friendly, helpful staff…easy beach access, situated right on ocean, reasonably priced, outdoor pool was a bonus too. I plan to return to this motel.

Location is great! Staff (I mean everyone) was exceptionally friendly and willing to help with anything. Even helped us add another night!

The rooms and hotel properties are clean and well kept. The breakfast is wonderful. Love the enclosed pool and hot tub.

We stayed in room 5008. Beautifully decorated, clean, right on the gorgeous beach!! Definitley will be back!

Location is perfect, exactly on the beach, the pool was very clean, the room was comfortable.

Hotel is close to the beach. Strong coffee at the breakfast. We loved our stay very much.
