I was there to see family. Ayers was really comfortable and had a friendly staff. I would have felt quite comfortable bringing my young son there, not like many other places I've stayed in the same price range.

I grew up in Pasadena in the mid-1950s. I frequently return as my oldest daughter lives in Pasadena. Pasadena is home still, even though I spend most of my time in SLC or other parts of the US working.

Very bad experience, the heater was not working.

Very bad experience, the heater was not working. We were freezing I called the manager at 1 AM and he didn’t sound like he cared.. I would like a refund please for my stay. I asked for a manager to call me so I can explain what happened. No one ever called me.

Avoid this place at all costs.

Avoid this place at all costs. Lower then sayisfactory condition. Dirty sheets, employees that lie, they are trying to steal my deposit, it would be hard to give this place a reason to even keep a deposit. Tv didn’t even work for over half the stay. No fire alarm, only wires hanging from the ceiling, bed was a mattress laced on wood, not a box spring and mattress lol just a mattress on wood. They don’t care about your comfort and there was mold, rust and terrible old condition. Like a ‘80’s hotel out in the desert. If you complain they will just lie, not care and make an excuse, while trying to get more money out of you. Way over priced plus I was over charged the rate I was supposed to get.

We went to the Pomona Swat Meet.

We went to the Pomona Swat Meet. We usually go 3 times a year. Getting arou d was pretty easy. Convenient. We did go to Steven's Steak house for dinner. That was a 10!!!! Great prime rib and steaks. Totally worth going for dinner. We will be going back to Steven's Steak House next time.

I really didn't get to see much of the city during my stay.

I really didn't get to see much of the city during my stay. However, I loved the houses around the parts I drove through. Very beautiful upkeep homes. The food spots were close by and delicious.Our friends that lived in the area took us to this indoor food court about ten minutes away. I want to go back and try the food from every place inside.

Room was clean and comfortable. Had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, ice bucket, fridge and a microwave. Ice was available from the car park entrance. Great location, there were restaurants close by and just a few yards from a dollar tree store. Staff were polite and very helpful. We unfortunately had a problem, but it was dealt with quickly. We would stay again. I recommend this hotel. It's clean and comfortable, just what is needed after a long day touring.

Very unpleasant They didn’t tell me about the plumbing until after I checked in and was too late to go somewhere else. …had to get up a few hrs earlier then I wanted to , Just so I could use the bathroom, And take a shower! The water was being shut off at 9am Until 3

Uptown Whittier has improved significantly with more dining...

Uptown Whittier has improved significantly with more dining options. Some places have live music. One of my favorite restaurants is California Grill on Philadelphia St. Huge menu, and (heated) patio seating with live music. Greenleaf St is the main street for restaurants, bars and shopping and is a 5 min walk from Calif Grill.

The Motel is very nice, but they drastically need to jump on this hot water issue. They are spending a lot of time and money on this issue. They need too check the re-circulating pump to insure it is working
