A clean, very beautiful place with super big room size, romantic bathtub and a comfortable bed. Everything looked perfect and spotless, the visual side reminded us of Santorini island in Greece, Europe, and combined with Vung Tau's warm climate it was giving out an attractive vibe :) Staff was extremely friendly, always ready to help with our requests, parking of our motorbike was included at no extra charge, and I must mention that we even got a small discount on our original room price right on the spot after we arrived! The room overlooked green area +two small lakes, offered all amenities we needed and even had a swimming pool on the rooftop. This was the best choice to stay in the whole Vung Tau city. Thank you!

There was no breakfast option at this Hotel. The Hotel is in a quiet part of Vung Tau, surrounded by private homes and other hotels. The beds were extremely good, typical hard Vietnamese style mattresses, the pillows were very soft. The hotel is exceptionally clean and spotless. My room was 3C, a studio with a washing machine, kitchen and facilities, but minus the balcony, still, it was perfect for me. There are two windows in this studio if you don't want to run the aircon all night and also, the shower is fantastic. The owner is a gracious lady who speaks fairly good English, Miss Lan Chi, is very generous and very helpful for tips and travels around Vung Tau. There is motobike parking at the hotel and 24/7 security. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and drinking places, all within walking distance. There are some full time residents here, so if a room or studio is available, grab it, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent welcome, lovely and clean. The host is a very nice person and very helpful. The hotel is well placed, not far from the beach and lots of restaurants etc . Bathroom was well equipped with lots of hot water etc. Lovely place and a lovely host. You can't go wrong here.

Wow, this is a must stay! Tiên and her husband were the most incredible, welcoming and friendly hosts. They recommended places to visit, breakfast - Western and Vietnamese, and other things to do on the island. The hotel is centrally located in the middle of the town close to great eats, parks, attractions, Bãi Lò Vôi Beach and many other places. They helped me to organize trips, rides to different places around the island, transport to and from the airport and even tried to help problem solve when my flight got rescheduled. I highly recommend

Nice designer boutique hotel, with pretty tiled floors and walls and trendy decor. Neatly clean. Spacious room. Excellent breakfast. You can choose from Vietnamese dishes or Western breakfast consisting of a sandwich (Banh mi) and bacon and fried eggs and fresh fruit. You can enjoy sitting in the back garden. Excellent value for money. You can also rent a scooter there (150,000 VND) nice staff.

Sala Ho Tram really feels like a tropical garden — a small “Da Lat” by the sea. It’s on the main road, easy to access, and faces the forest so it’s breezy and quiet. The grounds are spacious with resort-style services: large, clean rooms; a kids-only pool (my favorite because hygiene is well maintained); relaxing areas; and BBQ. The price is reasonable for the scale . Lots of nice corners to chill and take photos. Overall neat and comfortable, great for families or groups. I’m happy with the stay and will return.

Great location. 7 km to a beautiful pristine beach, 2 km to the 2nd largest natiinal forest reserve, 12 km to Mineral Hot Spring, 9km to HO Tram and a little further to Vung Tau. But still wondering why people flock to Vung Tau! Spend lots of time at the Ho Coc Beach and enjoy the seafood right there. Will be returning to expore more of this gem of a destination.

It is an industrial port town not suitable for tourism.

It is an industrial port town not suitable for tourism. Levels of pollution are very high due to the main highway passing through the centre. The highway is also extremely dangerous with numerous accidents involving large trucks and motorbikes. On the the other hand a good selection of Vietnamese restaurants and coffee shops at reasonable prices. The local people appear to be very helpful.

Vung Tau is a beautiful town , with lot's of attraction , but the main thing remains the beach. If you come for the beach, please note the waters are moving towards the town morning, and backwards from town evening time.

The price of food are quite expensive compare to other...

The price of food are quite expensive compare to other sightseeing places in Vietnam. You should ask before select dishes. However, you can taste food in night market, fresh and cheaper compare to restaurant. Beside go to the beaches, you can visit Con Dao National Park for trekking. However, be sure that you will not be hungry as no food service available :)

Perfect weekend getaway for our family.

Perfect weekend getaway for our family. Kids had so much fun at the tropicana water park. Enough activities to keep kids happy without tiring the parents under the tropical Sun. Went to public beach next door and kids had a blast digging and discovering the small sea creatures… crabs, clams, snails, star fish …. They had enough swimming at the villa swimming pool… playing in the imitation waves at the park . Overall i was able to be back to work the next Monday & kids going back to school. Time well spent with budget at fair consideration

Didn’t get to see much of what I would have liked. Accommodation was a little out-of-town so couldn’t wander through the main areas at will. Heaps of good restaurants & bars in town. Nice cafes throughout. Lots of redevelopment going on around back beach so it’s not great to look at presently.. Very quiet all through, although it was midweek, low season.

We spent 4 days in Con Dao, which was great .

We spent 4 days in Con Dao, which was great .Each day we went off ( motorcycle) and looked at the “ things to see” . The prison complexes take a good half a day to look at , as there are about 7 sections,in total .We often spent half a day out n about , each day . Overall Con Dao was beautifulI Its a,45 minute flight out of Saigon . We could of stayed a week there easily
