The host is lovely, super helpful with everything and speaks perfect english! The location is great (close to a nice beach, nice beach bars and the market etc) and the rooms and pool are super clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone! Thanks for the lovely stay!

I really had the best stay in wanderlust and also had the best sleep of my life. I have been travelling Asia for 3 months now and this has been my favourite hotel room and favourite bed. The staff were so extremely helpful they helped me organise my bus to meet at the hotel instead of ticket office. 2 pools which are both very clean. Overall an amazing stay here and recommend anyone and everyone to stay here

Sonata is a little paradise! It is a small and local resort in the middle of a lot of construction sites. It seems a lot of local families stay here to celibrate anniversaries. There is little to do and no other restaurants, but there is no need. You should really go now before it all gets completely comersilialize. We booked 3 nights but extended 1 night. You have the beach completely to yourself. They clean the beach every morning but you should be aware that the rest of the beach is quite dirty because of all construction. If you go for a long beach walk, do it in the morning. We booked a room with seaview, which was very good , but there are strandvillas that look nice too with your own pool. Go there if you want a calm time and get spoiled with good and smiling service.

Good location. A large pool is located right next to the beach, so you can enjoy both sides. All staff are very kind and friendly. One of my friend got a stomachache from a local restaurant and the resort staff brought her some free hot ginger tea at midnight. Another friend fell down and swollen the top of her foot, and the staff constantly brought her a foot lotion and a lot of ice. All was super comfortable. In addition, there lives a lovely cat family in the resort. Such a lovely place. I'll definitely visit again.

Everything, the hotel really is the best option if you just want to relax and rest and enjoy the sun for a few days. The garden is so amazingly beautiful, the pools are big and clean, the staff is very welcoming and sweet, the rooms are spacious and the bed sleeps really well. The breakfast is very nice with lots of Asian and Western options. Also the beach area of the hotel is really nice. Would very very much recommend!

Exactly what we needed for a break! Seafront bungalow made all the difference. Literally 5meters from the sea... not many people in the resort only helped us relaxing. The staff was excellent.

The staff was excellent. Beautiful views from bothe the balcony and rooftop bar. The pool was really nice and the food in both the restaurant and bar was good. The 24 hr pick up and go was very well stocked and convenient. The restaurants along the street also had excellent food.

Old Mui Ne (near Phan Thiet) is entertaining and one can find good seafood and western style restaurants. Basically a place for Vietnamese to enjoy the beach. The beach in Mui Ne is much nicer than Vung Tau and it is better accessible than Vung Tau due to the new expressway. With small children Asteria is certainly a good choice. Foreign adults have nothing to do here and they should go to "old" Mui Ne. Or Nha Trang.

Buses from the south are likely to drop you at the beach,...

Buses from the south are likely to drop you at the beach, and transfer you to town with a free minibus shuttle. I stored my luggage at the bus office and walked to Fairy stream, then caught a later shuttle. This was a good way to do it as I hate tours, and only had one more full day to see the sand dunes. Fairy streem is not to be missed.

Value for money, location, service I cannot rate it more highly. Peaceful, communication was easy with the staff, plenty of comfortable day beds to relax around the pool. If u didn’t want to leave and go anywhere this is perfect to park up and relax

The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive...

The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive from Dallas across the very winding road across the hills I think the drive from HCM is more straightforward but twice as long but around 3hours 30 Minutes. I'd go back but only when the Phan Thiet airport opens in 2025. Next tim I would stay Mui Ne side of Phan Thiet

It is a lovely beach but covered in plastic sadly. The area is very developed for tourism so not pretty behind the beach..but plenty of cheap shops if you like that sort of thing. Our hotel was amazing...without that it would be been less enjoyable.

The Me Bungalow was in a excellent setting and There was plenty to do in surrounding areas Henry the owner organised excursions for us and they were top class . Recommend the Chinese Buddha and dragon fruit farm tour 👍restaurants We’re very good ( and there’s plenty of them ) . But if you don’t want to go out the food at the bungalow is good too . 😋
