The hotel is quite new and has a uniqe italian atmosphere. Even though ee are in vietnam, we liked this style. Our room had a very nice see view, where you can see the while sunset town and the sunset! Breakfast we could order from menu, which was beeing in a restaurant every morning, it was fine and delicious too. We have to mention the extraordinary staff, who made our holiday even more enjoyable. They recommended and organised programs as well! Compliment to the team!

Great hotel! It is located really close to the beach and there is an outdoor pool that hotel guests can use. The hotel has only been open for 5 months so everything is brand new. The rooms are very clean. A lot of the houses and buildings around the hotel are unoccupied, so the area is not busy at all. If you like it a little more quiet and want to come down from your busy travels and city life, it’s perfect. The city center is easily reached within 15-20 minutes. The hotel manager is very nice and will give you lots of tips on where to eat or go if you need suggestions.

Everything! - Perfect location to explore Sunset town. - Very comfortable and beautiful room. - Stephany was very helpful from the beginning. Few tips how to enjoy your stay at Sunset town: Withdraw some cash as soon as you arrive (ATM is available in Hon Thom Departure Terminal), there is not much choice around where to eat for a reasonable price (it’s like 200-300 VND min for a meal for 1 person without drinks). So better have some cash and enjoy everyday food market in the north part of the town that starts at 18:00 (5 min by walk from the Mellon Oasis). Don’t go to Starbucks for coffee, go to Lotus Cafe & Home, try Sea salt cream latte! One of the best coffee I’ve ever had!

Our stay at Emerald Garden was delightful. The resort is located in a quiet place where no city noise or karaoke will bother you. There is a huge pool with a jacuzzi. If you need to buy somewhere in a store or go to a nearby restaurant, the staff will drive you there for free. We felt very welcome. The bungalows are recently built and they look very nice. There are even bathrobes! The price was a steal for all the convenience and service. I can recommend this resort 100%.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Tropicana Resort - it wasn't one of the best rated hotels when I was doing the research, however it had excellent location and I decided to book it. Everything went great onsite, the staff were extremely nice, my room had sea view which was amazing to wake up to every morning. I would definitely book it again and I think it is an excellent choice for people that want to stay at a nice place at the beach and don't want to spend tons of money for it. There is also a great restaurant nearby that you should not miss to visit - Tween's Kitchen.

Amazing! Quiet spot, great room (thanks for the upgrade!), gorgeous pool, wonderfully helpful staff thank you! Breakfasts were good with loads of variety. It was great being away from the city and it was very easy to get in to town using a Grab. We went at the wrong time of year to make any use of the beach but the pool was excellent!

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty.

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty. OK food options, big range but average quality and expensive (tourist / island) prices compared to HCM. Too many noisy doof-doof nightclubs along the beach ruin the chance for a relaxing sleep. Leave it for the backpacker revellers. Many accommodation options seem run down. Plenty of Russians around, this rarely improves the ambiance in my experience.

Phu Quoc completely won me over.

Phu Quoc completely won me over. It’s the perfect blend of calm beaches, local life, and beautiful nature. What I loved most was the slower, more peaceful rhythm - quiet villages, friendly people, and spots where you can still feel the island’s authentic charm. The beaches are stunning, the food is amazing, and getting around by bike or scooter makes exploring easy and fun. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, enjoy simple moments, and escape the crowds, Phu Quoc is an incredible choice. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
