Gabriel and Sanjana were the most amazing hosts. They were so welcoming to us and helped us with every aspect of our trip. The food was delicious and plentiful and they were a wealth of local information and knowledge. I would highly recommend this as an amazing place to stay.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who is both kind and attentive, and truly takes the time to connect with his guests. He is passionate and genuinely interested in people. The safari was outstanding: a good jeep, quality breakfast and lunch, an excellent driver, and our host himself as a professional guide. He knows every species and gave us the real feeling of tracking wild animals together — and we were rewarded with amazing leopard sightings! The best safari service we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are simple, clean, and functional, and the surroundings are beautiful, natural, and very well maintained.

We had an outstanding time! The staff was so caring, they prepared a special treat for New Year‘s Eve and fulfilled all wishes which we had. They, moreover, took the time to take us on a trip with a Jeep. Our room was very clean, the food was very delicious! The location of the facilities is quite far into the landscape which makes it even nicer to have the possibility to get some calm days. Furthermore, we booked our Safari Tour through the Yala Nationalpark with the Hotel, they had the best guide who is very fond of all animals walking around. He gave us great insights. We were really happy to stay here!

We loved our time at yakaduru. The place only has a few buildings so it had a really intimate feeling. It was right in amongst the national park and nature so you felt like you were really immersed. I don’t mind camping but hate bugs so had been a bit worried but the yakaduru team check your room every night and use a special smoke recipe to detract animals. The staff were so attentive and kind, would recommend this special place in a heartbeat.

Great boutique hotel, close to Yala park. The rooms are super comfortable and spacious. Loved the simple and clean aesthetic. The team was wonderful and so helpful. We will definitely come back soon.

Uga chena huts were like a heaven on earth. Amazing scenery, amazing ambience , amazing eco friendly architecture , amazing team to take care of you and pamper you with attention and great food presented in Michelin star way. The hotel in the midst of national forest with private jacuzzi pool overlooking the forest was a treat. The care provided by staff was heart touching .
