The staff, food, ambience everything was just perfect. All the staff starting from GM, Chef Mr. Rajiv, restaurant staff Mr. Kedar, Prasanta, Swapna, Subhash are a few to mention. The young lady at the reception (forgot her name) was just super. Made our stay smooth and comfortable. Quickest check-in and check-out.

This hotel is perfectly placed on top of a hill overlooking the Balthali Valley with,on a clear day amazing views of the Himalayas! The staff and family,who ran it, were absolutely brilliant! The room was delightful and the food was the best we have had so far travelling in India and Nepal. Great authentic Nepalese cuisine! We were there for Tihar and the family asked to join them for the celebrations, which was very special indeed! They also arranged our trip to Namobuddha! Excellent hotel, lovely family and staff! Just book it!

Thanks to that project, you get to stay in local houses for such a fair price, good hygiene and comfort, fresh and local food, all that while sustaining the community economy! Love it!! And for anything, you can ask Sila, who will totally make her best to help you in whatever you need and within her possibilities (we arrived as a 11 people group, at last minute after a change of plans and she managed lodging, transports, local guide, restaurant booking -as it was a festival time- all within a couple of hours!!).
