Katerina at reception greeted us along with her colleague and after mentioning that we were hungry … she brought us some yogurt and crackers and cheese which I believe was her snack for her night shift ! We immediately felt like part of the family. The resort itself … I cannot fault it from the accommodation to the beach … all exceeded expectation.. we can’t wait to return !

Situated in Ierissos, the beachfront Mount Athos Resort features a private sandy beach, 3 restaurants, free private parking, and a seasonal outdoor infinity pool. Everything about this property was beautiful. We were greeted with a delicious fizzy drink, and the hotel staff showed top notch hospitality throughout our stay. You have a beautiful view from anywhere on the campus. Not sure how full it was when we were there, but there were always plenty pool and beach lounge chairs. Our room was so comfortable. The restaurant has amazing food. Get the shrimp risotto!! We were able to walk down to a cute little beach neighborhood with some restaurants and hangouts. This was part of our honeymoon trip and I loved it.

Nejvíce se nám líbilo umístění a atmosféra hotelu, protože upřednostňujeme klidnou lokalitu bez hlasitých barů, diskoték a animačních programů. Hotel je sám o sobě velmi hezký, s přijemným zařízením. Opravdu nádherné je místo pro snídani/večeři v malých pavilónkách kousek od moře. Jíst na tomto místě bylo opravdu dechberoucí. Snídaně byla opravdu bohatá, včetně výběru řeckých nebo lokálních surovin. Večeře se vybírá z lístku. Předkrmy a dezerty byly famózní, hlavní jídlo již tolik neoslnilo, ale bylo vždy připravené z kvalitních surovin. Obsluhující personál byl vždy přátelský a velmi profesionální, i když jsme určité rozdíly v úrovni obsluhy zaznamenali. Personál v pavilónkách nejblíže k moři (hodně vysoký muž a velmi na krátko ostříhaný mladík) poskytoval servis hodný nejlepších hotelů - skvělá práce! Oproti pláži zde bylo vše skvěle zorganizované a svou večeři jste si mohli opravdu v klidu vychutnat. Doporučujeme pouze nechat odstranit zcela nevhodně umístěné osvěžovače vzduchu v pavilónech pro večeři. Pokud sedíte u prostředního stolu, aerosol Vám padá přímo do pití a jídla, což dojem může pokazit. Pokoje jsou umístěné v malých vilkách, pokud má někdo sníženou pohyblivost, je třeba pečlivě volit výběr pokoje v blízkosti recepce (jsou však k dispozici i vozíky, kterými Vás řidič odveze ke vzdálenějšímu pokoji).

Potidea Palace se nachází 2 km od obce Nea Potidea a 5 km od obce Moudania. Nabízí ubytování s klimatizací a bezplatným Wi-Fi. The property has its own private sandy beach, which is cleaned regularly by the employees. The sea entering is perfect and after a portion of deeper water, there’s another good 10-15 meters of 1.5m or some water depth. The hotel has multiple buildings, all with plenty of gardens. There were enough sun beds, both at the pool and at the beach. The beach does not have a lifeguard, there’s only one at the pool. The umbrellas are free of charge and plenty. There are some bigger sun beds that do cost, 75 Euros per day, but not many. Each night there were activities for kids, like a kids disco with animators. Some nights there was live music. The mini bar in the room was free and replenished daily. The room was very clean and spacious, also cleaned daily. There is also a store on the properly in case you want to buy souvenirs, cosmetics or inflatables for kids. They also have a winery and there you can book a wine tasting. The food was amazing! It can be called diverse and delicious from a picky eater perspective. There were many fruit varieties, honeycombs fillet with honey, Greek specialities, lots of seafood and fish but also common things such as pasta, pancakes, waffles and french fries. Many sweets, new each day. The cocktails were diverse and tasty and the beer tap never ran out. The staff were very nice, kind and very fast and they helped us with anything we needed, including carrying the luggage. There was enough parking space and I think they can also offer a shuttle for those who come by plane. We really had a lovely stay.
