The room was in good condition and the value for money was great. I think the location is actually nice, as long as you can rent and ride a scooter yourself. It’s next to the buffalo hostel which is party focused so you can hear some music in the evenings but they usually turn it off at a reasonable time. Windy is a perfect place for travelers who still want to socialize at buffalo hostel but prefer a more comfortable, private room to sleep in!

The host was excellent — he helped with everything, provided lots of information, and arranged the necessary local transport and transfer back to Hanoi. Every morning there were simple but good, home-style breakfasts. It should be mentioned that the property is located in two buildings that are 200 m apart. We stayed in the farther one, which is situated on a completely quiet side street. Overall, an excellent property for the price offered.
