Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaThe cost was a lot even with the convenience of being right at the airport. A $100 less would have been more appropriate. Meals and room service charges were a bit steep too, so luckily takeaway options were in easy walking distance. Shuttle dropped us at the beginning of the laydown area and we along with others then had to walk quite a distance to the Qantas departure area for no apparent reason as there was plenty of room further along the laydown bay that we could have been dropped. It was not busy as it was 5.30am. The shower nozzle in hotel was not able to be adjusted and was too harsh.
Location was perfect for us to catch an early morning flight. Shuttle to the airport was handy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

I arrived very cold and shaking with a head cold. I rang room service and asked if they could bring me toast and Vegemite and a few boiled eggs- all I could stomach. Reception was happy to ask the kitchen. They brought it all up with no worries at all. Cannot fault them. Thank you so much. It was truly appalling that they went the extra mile. 10/10!!

AustraliaWe left the hotel well before daylight. Not Holiday Inn’s responsibility, however some of the street lights ( walking to Airport) were not working. Roadworks near hotel atm, again not the Holiday Inn’s fault, but once these things are sorted/ completed, it sure gets a 10/10 for convenience and easy access to Airport.
Very Convenient and well signposted , to walk to Airport. Probably 10 min. A free shuttle bus also available. Room is compact, but comfortable. Clean , with a separate coffee making area, and small fridge- again, very convenient when travelling.

Very close to the airport and has a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Breakfast has clear allergy labels as well as "vegetarian" and "vegan" labels, even though there are not many vegan options. Beds are comfortable and you get a soft and a firm pillow.

United KingdomLimited eating facilities close by. We used an international burger establishment in the petrol station 2 minutes walk away!
We stayed here to catch an early morning flight (6am). We were given free transport to the terminal, with a lot of luggage(!) at a very unearthly hour. It was perfect. It was also opposite the car rental return carpark, so dropped spouse at hotel with bags, drove to car return, and just walked across the road!
