I was next to the kitchen its a congregation point. I got woke up a little bit both days. However, the staff were awesome and kind. Everyone was respectful. The views from the property were awesome!!

The rooms had shared toilets and washing facilities but it wasn't clear from the information before booking, that there were only 2 toilets for 8 rooms. There were at least 12 people staying the night we were there, so a lot of people using the facilities.. One of the lights in our room was broken, so only had one side lamp. There were far too many rules all over the premises, take your shoes off, sanitise your hands, flush the toilet etc, etc. We can't comment on staff as we didn't see anyone while we were there.

The location was.good for us, as we wanted to be close to downtown but have space to park the car.

The house is located right next to a "big" road and intersection which can get noisy, especially during weekend nights.

Nice kitchen decently equipped for cooking, the included great breakfast was great with good bagels, and beautiful views on the city.

Stains on towel. Noisy heating baseboard during the night. Light under the carport keep going on during the night (movement sensor), blind not dark enough so it was illuminating the bedroom.

The room was freezing when I arrived. There is a mini heater in addition to the general heating system which seems to work in the entire house but not so much in the room. Also no plugs by the nightstand. The plug that was the closest stopped working during the night so no more light and phone wasn’t charged when I woke up :(

The room was large and lots of space in the house but also to park cars! Kitchen seemed well equipped and bathrooms were good as well. The host is very reactive to messages which is very appreciated :)

We like the fact there is a door code so you can arrive at any time. We came from the airport and let ourselves in at 12:30 am. It’s only 15 minute drive from Horseshoe Bay ferry. It’s very homey and the beds and pillows are super comfortable!!!

I stayed 3 nights and I liked that there was a lot of space in the kitchen and the bagels in the morning! I liked the availability of a washing machine and dryer free of charge, just need to let the owner know when you want to use it. It was nice that they provided shampoo and body wash as well and towels.

Had a few ants in my room, and had no way of controlling the heat/radiator. The walls are a bit thin and can easily hear other people moving around on the hallways.

The proximity to North Vancouver and Highway towards Langley/Squamish. It has a decent view of Stanley Park in the distance and Vancouver Island in the far distance.

It seemed difficult to run my visa on-line, this caused some worry on my end as well as a late night knock on our door to secure payment after we were in bed. Not ideal.

Doors didn't do much for sound insulation. Also, while we didn't have any problems, 2 toilets and showers seemed scarce compared to the number of rooms.

Nice enough place, older but fairly well kept and clean. Nice neighborhood. Breakfast selection was pretty ok.

It was a little funky and wasn't advertised as a hostel. The walls were extremely thin and you could hear others snoring all night.

The location to Cypress mountain and activities north of the city was perfect.

Very hard to find the place in the dark. No signage at all, house numbers were back from the road and not illuminated.

Far and away the cheapest option this close to the ferry terminal. Safe, clean, quiet, decent breakfast, comfortable room, nice view from the patio.

The wall is thin. However quiet hours after 10pm is clearly instructed. So should not be ok.

Good location for skiers who ski at Cypress. Grouse mountain is 5 minutes away. Facility is clean. Instructions are clearly posted at various places. Kitchen will well stocked condiments. Nice homy feel.

I think it was just a change of seasons, but all I could find more fans in air-conditioning would actually there was frost in the air and my room was cold. It seemed like the rest of the house was warm though. A space heater and blankets would solve that issue.

Well, organized and comfortable. There was a sense of caring there, so she’s the fresh baked cookies on the table when I arrived.

Really liked the staff, especially Ali. He was very helpful and if he wasn't on site and I called him on the phone, he was there within minutes to deal with whatever needed attention.
