Absolutely no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. The breakfast is strange., seems to be a lot of everything but hot choice is only one - boiled egg. At first sight the room is perfectly clean, but under the bed there's a lot of dust. Pillows and blankets could have been much better.

Simply that there was no tea/coffee in room.

The room we had (223) was large with a sitting area, wooden floors and a large double bed. Whilst no tea/coffee making facilities, room came with a safe. Bathroom was lovely with walk in shower- one of nicest bathrooms we have had! Balcony had view of River Main. In spite of it being October we were able to eat outside. Whilst pricey would recommend Pork medallions with Pfefferling mushrooms. Breakfast not extensive but was fresh. Staff made great efforts to accommodate my wife’s gluten-free meal. Receptionist/ manager was welcoming and made real effort to make our stay special. Excellent customer service! Free car parking.

Information on the site ( room description) is not correct. We’re family of 3 nonetheless I’ve booked two rooms: triple and double, I really needed room (the double plus superior one) with balcony, which ,according to foto’s and description on the site, I’ve booked. There is no airco, no fans so balcony was important. Instead, got a really small room with really small window on the sunny side. Eventually didn’t really use it and stayed in triple room.

Location. If you’re lucky - you get a nice view from the window. Shower and the bath tub (triple room)

The reason we booked this hotel was because it was advertised to have an EV charging point. This charging point is on the hotel car park however it is out of order. To be fair the hotel did let us know in a message before we arrived it will not be possible to charge there but it would be great if they could make sure the charger is fixed or remove it from the booking.com listing. We would be more than happy to pay for the charging too, and I think all hotels should have multiple points available, especially for such a large hotel with a large car park.

Lovely hotel within walking distance to the historical town centre. We also really enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evening, drinking some lovely local wine! The staff has been exceptionally friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended :)

First impressions weren't good, hotel was 'shut' and lift wasn't working - our room was on the third floor and I am disabled. But, they had left a phone number and it proved very useful - they said someone would be along shortly and the owner turned up - he gave us the master key to the hotel and asked us to leave it on the bar when we had finished with it, he also recommended a good restaurant to have dinner in and gave us directions for how to get there. After that everything worked perfectly and we decided to spend another night there. Breakfast was very good and we loved the lady on duty there, like all the staff she seemed to put the visitors interests first.

The room was too big for us. I would have preferred to stay in smaller and a bit cheaper room for our 1 night sleep-over.

The hotel is near the river and the center. It is easy to park, the hotel has its own restaurant. The room was large, modern and clean. Comfortable bed and bed sheets. Excellent breakfast with the possibility to eat outside. I wish we stayed more than 1 night.

wonderful location, very nice and polite service . We arrived early and they allowed us early check-in. lovely Lady on reception was very helpful. There was no sign to ask that we not be disturbed Saturday morning and the maids wanted to come in pretty early, around 9 am. They also came back still again before we were out for the day about 10:30. There was no way to lock the door from within so they could not begin to open it before we got there. Also the pillows were very flat.

The view from our balcony lived up to its name. The food was wonderful and the staff worked with my friend's dietary needs about no gluten. The property was beautiful and there was nice parking. We adored the balcony and spent a good bit of time out there. The decor of the hotel was classic German and was well done and tasteful rather than kitsch. the front desk staff and the restaurant staff were very professional. When I wrote ahead and had some requests, they were answered within a day. The service was very good. The area around the hotel was lovely for walking, shopping and hiking not far away.
