Some minor improvements I can suggest for the owner: please empty the bathroom sanitary bin more frequently as it holds dirty toilet paper that can't be flushed. After a while, the bathroom may start to smell. I also suggest more frequent cleaning of the shared toilet if possible. Aside from these, I did not have any major issues. The price to quality ratio was within range hence I am giving the place a good rating.

The owner, Giorgi was a kind and attentive host. At first he may come off as strict, but after a while I realize it's just his communication style. We communicated using a translator app as he didn't speak English but I had no issue with getting my messages across. He also taught me a few Russian phrases after he found out that I am learning the Russian language. He owns 3 rooms and he lives in room number 3 at the end of the hall. Rooms 1 and 2 are being rented out and I stayed in room number 1.

Our stay at GM Homestay was exceptional, beyond our expectations! Giorgi is a wonderful host who takes great care in keeping everything spotless, well-organized and running smoothly. He is thoughtful and resourceful, always ready to help in ways that make you feel well looked after. Although he doesn’t speak English, he communicates effectively through a translator, which works perfectly fine. Giorgi checked in often to see if we needed anything or had feedback, and on our last day he even made sure we were up early in time for our trip. Staying here made our trip so much more enjoyable and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tbilisi.

We liked everything, just pay attention to all the information on arrival, as we didn't lock the door the first time, and at night it's best to use a torch to walk to the bathroom as the light should not be switched on in the corridor as it attracts bugs.

We really enjoyed our time at this property in Tblisi. Particularly we enjoyed staying in a house which is run by a friendly local, to get a real feel for the area. The accommodation is within reach of all amenities and the host was very attentive and an expert at using online translation! Thank you so much

Giorgi's ability to make us feel at home and well looked after enhanced greatly our stay in Tbilisi. Although this was budget accommodation, our room was equipped with a kitchenette and table, the bathroom was clean. We enjoyed the quietness of the apartment. The property is conveniently situated in a picturesque part of central Tbilisi, only 10 minutes walk from Liberty Square. Next time we stay in Tbilisi, we will have no hesitation in booking the same accommodation.

The only thing which was maybe annoying is that the sink is outside the room, however it’s always accessible.

At first glance it may look like the property doesn’t exist, because it’s a little bit hidden inside the old building. However when you come inside you meet a wonderful host Giorgy, who is very hospitable and helpful. The room itself was very clean. In the morning, Giorgy cooked breakfast which was usually traditional georgian food. Breakfast was excellent and it came in big portions. Bathroom, although it was shared, was very clean all the time. Another good thing about it is that Giorgy is very flexible. We could spend the entire night outside and in the morning when he noticed we were out partying, he brought the breakfast later so we could sleep more…

Perfect location in the heart of Old Town. Giorgi is an absolutely fantastic person and host. The room is big and comfortable, with air conditioning (a must to have in summer in Tbilisi). The breakfast is good and his khinkali are special. Totally recommended!
