Mattress on the bed wasn’t very comfortable. I had to change it from the single bed in my room. Also no Netflix access on the tv even though it was advertised as being available

Only think that irked me was there was a sign saying you couldn't consume anywhere food not purchased on the premises. Taken literally it means I couldn't have eaten a scone or orange I brought for my breakfast. This is an unreasonable expectation.

Easy to find. Check in staff efficient. Asked for receipt on checkout and it was ready. Service for meal in bar, even though busy, was quick. Food reasonably priced and nice. Room clean and comfortable. My room near road and very noisy.

Breakfast was average & ambience for dinner in the bar was very poor. Lighting was very bright, asked for the lights to be dimmed, but they couldn't. So easily improved with dimmed lighting, candles on the tables & some background music.

Pool facilities are not 4stars. Water in pool was so clouded that you couldn't see your hand.

As a family of 5 we had interconnecting rooms, which was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The room was lovely but needs updating. Old fitted brown furniture scratched. Mirrors old on wardrobe but bed was spotless & very comfortable. Tea & Coffee facilities very basic.

Only one small issue the lights in hotel rooms could of been brighter. Especially when putting on makeup. Other than that great place to stay, value for money. Great location to town and Kildare Village. Lovely pool. Well done team.

The bar isn't great but wouldn't put me off staying again. It's further out of town than I expected, more like a half hour walk to centre of town.

Wifi was horrific - would drop without warning, then wouldn’t reconnect. Moving locations around the room, into the hall and into public areas wasn’t much help. A known problem according to staff, but in this day and age, unacceptable in a hotel of this size. The next observation isn’t a complaint in that it didn’t impact our stay, but more of a commentary on the staff. We were asked at check in if we wanted to make dinner reservations. We hadn’t had lunch so wanted to eat early. When we showed up at the bar, we indicated the front desk had made us reservations but we weren’t sure whether it was for the bar or the restaurant. The waiter couldn’t find a reservation for either spot, but as it wasn’t busy, seated us easily. We ordered dinner in the bar, and only one meal came out. It was obvious the second meal dropped from the order, but there was no apology or explanation. We asked for the check at the table when we were finished and the waitress left and never returned. We went to the bar to pay and she looked at us and asked us what we wanted like she had never seen us before (we were one of maybe five tables at the time). The breakfast staff in the restaurant the next day were excellent, so it just could have been one of those days.

We were upgraded to a very large room. Beds were comfortable, room had a sitting area for two and a desk. Lots of closet space and a good sized bathroom. Three nightstands with outlets for electronics and a usb port at the desk. Breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order.

Parking - Spaces are not always available. Breakfast - unlike most of the hotels around the world, no real buffet for the breakfast, guest has to order breakfast through the waiter , the breakfast itself was good and worth the value
