The property was located far downstairs (more than 100steps) so wasn’t convenient with the bags.

    That view was magnificent.

Getting to the rooms was a bit of a challenge, as there is no elevator and going down is quite difficult. We had big suitcases because we were travelling for a long time so it was not ideal.

The view from the rooms and location were amazing.

It is quite far away from everything unless you have a car.

Beautiful, stunning view and the whole hotel is very nicely decorated, the plants made it feel like a big hanging garden. Very cute dog.

The steps and having to take your own rubbish with you when you leave. Be warned if you have mobility issues ask for a studio near the top and explain why. Otherwise you will face a steep cardio climb every morning and heaven forbid you forget anything in the car. Pack light for up and down!

It’s location overlooking the sea with individual units offering light self catering facilities but with a restaurant on site should you want.?

Gorgeous view, absolutely amazing. Cozy place to buy some food and watch the sunset. Clean and good wifi signal even at the lowest chalets. Catch your breath because if you get a low apartment like we did you have to climb a lot of stairs hahahaha

Most of the staff were really nice, but there was a grumpy, Italian bald man that was disrespectful and far from helpful. The Wi-Fi did not work. The cable TV did not work. There was an oven and a clothes, washer in the room and they did not work either. There was a luggage cart, but it only worked at ridiculous times, and the walk down to the room was miserable. Oh, for 10 flights of very steep stairs, and once you got the things down there, you had to come back up when you checked out with all of your luggage and no help at all. When I asked her receptionist about these problems, he told me that I just did not know how to use them and I should be happy with what I got. Out of 10 countries he went down in the history books as the rudest person that we had to deal with on the trip. If he’s not the owner, they should definitely get rid of that guy if they want to keep good reviews.

The property in the area is absolutely unbelievably gorgeous.

We found the beds and pillows uncomfortable, the room itself was quite dark and didn't have much of a view and if you are 6ft tall or above, you run the risk of knocking your head on the doorframe and ceiling in the bathroom.

Breathtaking views from spacious communal areas overlooking the ocean. We loved the Fuẞball table. Stunning and well maintained property outside of Riomaggiore - a welcomed break from the tourism chaos in town. Staff were very friendly. We bought the Cinque Terre card (€33 for two days) which covered the walks, train fare and shuttle bus that took us from our accomm into town. The shuttle bus was very reliable and a ~ 10 min ride into Riomaggiore. The shuttle bus schedule was easily accessible (at reception and stuck on notice boards throughout the property).

We had to carry luggage down hundreds of steps. The way out, they put luggage on a carousel up mountain. Not sure why that wasn’t offered on way down.

Loved the location! Beautiful and peaceful and away from the crowds. Restaurant had amazing food and an amazing view.

The property only operated the air conditioning from 5:30 pm and then shut it off at 7:30 am every morning. They didn’t even make an exception to the fact that the country is experiencing a terrible heat wave. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable in the room during the hottest hours of the day, and we felt like we had to be out elsewhere just to stay cool. We were expected to bring out our own trash, up and down more stairs. I didn’t care for that after climbing 200 steps multiple times just to get to my room. Unfortunately the bathroom also had some black mold on the ceiling above the shower due to the lack of windows and ventilation.

This property has beautiful views and is extremely well kept. It is a quiet escape from the crowds in the summer

We came without car, and when going away it was difficult to get to La Spezia It would have been great to also have a good view from our room, but unfortunately we did not get that.

The great view from the restaurant and the nice people running the place.

I wish i had come here in late September or October rather than mid-July. They warn you that there are 200 steps, but I read reviews that said they weren't a big deal. I am in good shape, but it was hard carrying my luggage in the heat. The stairs were very difficult for my husband. There were younger couples and families who were in good shape that had no trouble. The small kitchen didnt have a lot in it to cook with, and you will need your own kitchen towels. I could not use the microwave and the hot plate at the same time. I was able to make a meal, but it took longer. We were here in July with record heat, so consider this when booking. It is a really lovely place with an old-world feel.

The view from Il Borgo di Campi is spectacular. The grounds are both wild and organized. There are grape vines and assorted flowers and plants all along the paths. The food at the restaurant was light and delicious. Their house white wine was my favorite. The staff were very nice and they spoke English well but were also helpful when I was trying to say something in Italian. They had clear schedules posted for the bus. Free parking. This would be the perfect spot for someone to just relax and get away from crowds and people and watch the amazing scenery overlooking the water. There is a charm about the place that feels like a step back in time. The luggage transport on check out was a godsend, so we didn't have to carry our bags up 200 plus steps.
