United KingdomSadly airport shuttle times were very limiting - we landed at 7:40 at the staff said that the shuttle only ran until 7 pm, so had to self fund a cab. Also, outdoor pool opening times were extremely restrictive (it shut at 6 pm so impossible to enjoy the outdoor pool after that time). Finally, no shuttle service to the city center as we had read in some other reviews.
Great facilities, there’s a wide range of options to entertain yourself while there (outdoor pool, indoor pool, indoor and outdoor public bath, karaoke room, restaurants etc). Rooms were also extremely large compared to Japanese standards (using Tokyo as a reference here) which made a difference during our stay.

United KingdomSmall swimming pool & no gym During our stay, there was an earthquake / tsunami warning and the staff evacuated us all to the roof terrace - standard procedure. If the hotel could put the announcements in English & Japanese it would be most helpful.
Good service all round from free shuttle service from airport to quick check in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and well appointed. Balcony with ocean view Breakfast is a good buffet with asian & western options. Location is good - short walk towards Ishigaki town with a few bars and restaurants along the road. The hotel has a few restaurants and shop where you can buy drinks & snacks. Good for families - lots for children to do.

DenmarkAt checkin i was asked to pay some additional money for my 3 year old (1000 YPY / day), which there was NO mention on at booking. After some conversation and talk with a manager, they said i did not have to pay. Not really a problem, but just a bad start, after a long trip travelling with 2 kids.
Great breakfast and good facilities. Nice view from the resort. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Indoor pool was great when it was raining. Outdoor pool somewhat small, but we did not experience many guests using it in late March. Plenty of space ar the sunbeds. Great facilities for babies. Babyfood, chairs in public bath etc. We also enjoyed the public bath. Highly recommended resort!

United StatesCons: Dark musty hallways with small windows. The ocean view room actually faces the roof of a building right in front of it. The rooms are dated. The pool is small and filled with screaming children. What looks like a larger pool in photos is actually a shallow pomd and not appropriate for swimming. There is no access to the beach. There is a concrete walkway on the perimeter of the beach but it is like a high wall facing the ocean. No way to swim or walk on the beach. We arrived at 12 noon and there was no flexibility regarding check in, strictly at 3pm. We could have been allowed to use pool or facilities while waiting. It was extremely difficult to communicate with staff without an interpreter. We were billed more than the posted charge on Booking with no itemized bill to explain why. We left for a flight at 6am and were not given the itemized bill at check out.
Pros: Beautiful lobby views. Very good public bath facilities. Helpful staff at front desk but no English spoken. Not far from the center of town and walking distance to our favorite restaurant . Good sunset views.

United StatesIt seems most services are not available from noon to 2pm, so we couldn’t grab lunch at the resort when we were waiting for transport to the airport. Given the size of the resort, it would be nice to have at least a small gym.
The buffet breakfast was served hot and had a good variety of western and Asian dishes. Staff were attentive and helpful. The amenities and the condition of the facilities was above expectation (including free ice cream outside the public bath area!). The mattress was stiff but surprisingly comfortable.

JapanEven though it's located in front of the beach, it's on a rather rocky side, so I wouldn't recommend it for swimming, but you can make use of the indoor and outdoor swimming pool.
Great facilites and amenities. We particularly enjoyed the onsen and indoors swimming pool, as well as the size of the room and the breakfast buffet at La Mer. The staff was very friendly and we could also use the airport shuttle.

JapanDespite the warm temperature, the swimming pool was closed. The restaurant (Teedo) was overpriced for the level of the food; the choice of food in the bar (Deigo) was very limited, and generally of just average quality. Also the bar was unexplainably closed between 18.00 and 20.00.
The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. The area is very quiet with easy access to the see.

Japana bit far from downtown. without heavy rain, normally it’s not difficult to get taxi but once rain comes, it takes very long time. could there be a few regular shuttle service to downtown, such as moring, noon and evening
