The water was not as clear as I expected. Considering viva Wyndham azteca were I normally stay is only 3 KMS down the road and it is breathtaking

Right on the beach. Included breakfast is a REAL breakfast, not just toast and jam. Staff were super friendly as well. Our room was huge with huge balcony facing the ocean. We felt like kings.

There's no pool that's the only downside. And during sargassum season you really need at least a pool.

I wish they kept the gate open for direct access to the beach late at night, however it’s understandable that it’s closed for guests safety. Nevertheless you do have access to the beach late at night it’s just that you have to walk around.

Very clean, cozy but with very spacious room, next to the beach and all the night life but supper quiet and private (love that!) Staff were very attentive and friendly, included breakfast was not the usual continental breakfast but it had many options freshly made with a beautiful view at their restaurant. Great place for its value!

Staff extremely helpful and kind always anticipating your every need and going out of their ways to satisfy guests. Room was cleaned very well daily. The bar/restaurant had delicious options and great deals for the drinks (I might or might not have drunk 12 mezcalitas on an afternoon). The staff of the bar was so friendly and the breakfast options were great!

The only thing this hotel is missing is a pool, as the ocean isn’t the best for swimming with all the seaweed. But other than that, loved it!

Had a wonderful week stay here! I stayed in an oceanfront room and the view was just magical, the room had been recently renovated so it was really nice. The staff were so friendly and kind. Loved the included breakfast in the restaurant and being able to try all the different items on the menu each day. Location was excellent, right in the heart of all the excitement.

The property’s location is superb! Right on the beach and just few meters away from 5th Avenue with all restaurants. Staff were super nice and at night there is always a guard at the reception. The breakfast was a la carte, and was very delicious! Wish there was a pool as for few days the sea wasnt accessible due to extreme algae.

Bedroom floor was sticky from some type of cleaning product. Also, each room needs a mat to brush of sand before entering rooms.

We booked beachfront and that's what we got. It was great to be a little away from Fifth Avenue, but still we heard the 'doof doof' of the music until the early hours. If noise is a problem, then beachfront might not be best for you, as after the bars close there tends to be noise on the beach from people partying on. The breakfasts were lovely and we were able to get beach chairs and umbrellas each morning without issue. Strange system with the token and towels though. Doesn't make sense having to have a token and hard to get towels exchanged on a Sunday.

It didn’t affect us, but all the steps and stone in the courtyard and common might make this unsuitable for guests with physical challenges. Internet connection was difficult and spotty at times.

Situated on the sea with modern amenities. The stone work in the courtyard was very beautiful. We had a couple of maintenance issues in the room that were immediately resolved

I could have used a blanket on the bed instead of just a sheet.

Breakfast was included and amazing view of the Caribbean! Isaac was excellent 👍. All the staff were so great! Chairs and umbrellas included. I can't say enough good things about our stay. If you have trouble with stairs be sure to mention that. I had 50 stairs to my ocean view room! There are lovely rooms on ground level for next time 🙂

Loved the location! So close to everything and amazing sea breezes into our unit and step out onto the beach! Beach club was actually decent for food and cocktails. Staff were lovely and super helpful and even packed us a breakfast when we had an early tour. The room is a little old (the spa on the deck isnt useable) but the deck was amazing to sit on a enjoy the views. If you lock up the room it smells terrible when you come back, like a clogged drain which theyve covered up with a urinal disc under the sink which smells horrible. But if you open both doors and get a good breeze through it’s not too bad.
