This was our first stop on a multi-city tour of medinas in Morocco in advance of our daughter's wedding in Marrakesh. We had little idea of what to expect. Our visit was exceptional. Mohamed met us at the entry to the medina and handled our luggage all the way up to our room. We were then offered Moroccan tea and sweets on the rooftop where we first saw the panorama of the Blue City. He, and the entire staff, were warm and welcoming. He gave us great recommendations for places to see and where to eat. All of his suggestions were perfect. Breakfasts were magnificent and coupled with views that provided us with a lifetime of memories. Our walk to the Spanish mosque on our final morning there provided views that will be forever etched in our minds. We had one plumbing issue that was corrected immediately. Staying there was the perfect spot to making us comfortable in Morocco and lessened any anxiety we might have had in staying at unknown to us riads. Last thing, our room had a view of the local school. That might not seem ideal to many people, but for us it was nice to hear the excited voices of young people during the day and particularly when they had phys ed or recess. If we ever return to Chefchaouen, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The room was impeccable even if small there was everything that we need and are super clean! The host is very kind and breakfast absolutely amazing! If you go in winter you can ask for a portable heater and you will have a super warm room. Currently the check out is set at 13 which gives you the freedom to do a last walk around the city. Highly recommended!

Location is close to the main square and convenient. The view from the terrace was beautiful.

I highly recommend this Dar! From the moment I arrived, the majority of staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for!. They were incredibly welcoming and tentative. They were attentive and accommodating, starting from the Manager’Nabil’ who helped me a lot during my stay. Other staff including Zohar, Yasmine, Younes, Abdusalam. Furthermore; the location is amazing overlooking the valley! Also, it is very central. In addition, I enjoyed the breakfast. Thus, I have extended my stay. I would love to stay here again.

Amazing staff, very good breakfast with local products. The location is perfect, very near one of the entrances of the Medina. Very clean and nicely decorated.
