The check-in process was swift and efficient, and the staff's genuine friendliness set the tone for my entire stay. The excellence of the service provided was truly outstanding. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Whether it was providing local recommendations, arranging transportation, or simply offering a friendly smile, their commitment to excellence was evident in every interaction. One of the highlights of my stay was the personal welcome message I found waiting for me in my room. This thoughtful touch made me feel incredibly valued as a guest. The message was accompanied by a nice bottle of champagne, added a touch of luxury and personalization to my stay. Throughout my time at the hotel, I discovered small messages thoughtfully placed around the room. These charming notes included inspirational quotes, tips for exploring the local area. Each message was a delightful surprise and added a unique and personal touch to my experience.

Just overnight on the way to the airport. Couldn’t have a better location for that, beside the train station and bus to the airport outside the door.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The best family room we have ever stayed. The room was quite large and yet hot in the cold of December. Quiet and cozy neighborhood was the thing we needed as a family. The staff were perfect. Definitely we'd stay at the same hotel if we come to Basel again.

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. Feels like home. All staff are friendly and accommodating. Very glad to hear someone speaking with me using my own language.

This hotel is located in Basel's largest private recreational park, and yet lies in the heart of the city. all good, situated in a beautiful park, in the center of Basel - excellent. Great breakfast in a charming atmosphere.
