It is located in Barú Peninsula (an island), 20 minutes’ drive from Barbacoas Bay. - paradise just within natural beauty; we liked the mix of a modern and new set up in a natural scene - hotel is pretty new and - honestly - the pictures says it all, but seeing it live is just 10 times better - hotel is located on a private (!) beach, which is SO nice. It gives you 100% Caribbean feeling. Beach is clean and water is nice to swim in - room is big, nice and very clean - very good variety of food (could have more vegetarian options), nice quality - stuff is extremely friendly and helpful - overall: a really nice and romantic set up (even to propose, wedding venue, or else) for couples or a bunch of friends / family; if you need some time off to relax and enjoy yourself: definitely THE place to be - I couldn‘t think of a better place to stay after a few weeks of traveling around. Boasting a splendid beachfront location inside Rosario Islands National Park, the hotel is a 1-hour boat trip from Cartagena. Everything!!! Our stay at the hotel was worth every minute, from the boat ride from the dock to our return. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is very typical and delicious. If you are looking for a place to really disconnect, relax in front of the beach and enjoy the advantages of being on an island, Islas del Encanto is the place. Aura Hotel Barú se nachází v destinaci Barú a poskytuje ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a soukromou pláží. Pláž Ciénaga de Cholón je 70 metrů daleko. We came as a family with 2 small children and we all loved it. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely new pool which the children loved and great views. Our room was clean and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was great. We were going to go to an all inclusive and decided to go to Aura instead. I'm soooooo glad we did this.
