The hotel Makao offers a private beach in Palomino. The modern hotel has a terrace and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a variety of drinks at the social areas or at the beach. Intimate, cozy and beautifully elegant. Situated away from the party hostels but close enough to go explore easily in the evening. Everything is cleaned to the highest standard. Food is fresh, flavoured and delightful. Super practical facilities available when spending a day between the sea and the sun-bed , I.e. showers, toilets, with running hot water. Above all, the staff in Makao elevate it from a regular hotel to a family friendly experience. They are all brilliant, led by Anderson who is the nicest hotel manager. They all truly became friends.

The room we stayed in on the second floor was fresh and cool despite the heat in Palomina. The very high traditional palm ceiling ensured the room stayed fresh. It was spotless and the mosquito nets ensured a very good night sleep. The shower in our room was "outdoor" so you shower among the trees and birds dining and under the stars at night while still being very private. On a clear morning we were able to see the snowy peak from the terrace of the second floor. The common areas were great with free coffee and water. Also there were many hammocks were one can chill and look at birds.

Offering two outdoor pools and a restaurant, Aite Eco Resort is located near Palomino, just 200 metres from a private beach. It offers free limited WIFi and an open dining room for guests. Our stay was perfect. The place itself is magical. Perfect for someone looking for a quiet, clean place in the middle of nature but with some comfort. The staff is really friendly, the food (breakfast & dinner) was super delicious - there are even good veggie & vegan options. If you are careful you can swim in the ocean.

The place was nice..the manger arlet was very helpful along with her staff..they had beautiful views and I will be back again
