We love Northgate House, it is so peaceful and it really recharges the old batteries. The rooms are beautiful in a simple way and offers everything you could want or need, the staff in the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site which is very good and offers a good choice of menu including vegetarian options, the food is of high quality and presented very well, breakfast is also available and is very tasty.In short for us it is a hotel that offers everything and we love it so much we will be visiting twice next year and we are looking forward to it.

The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. This was our third visit, I can’t praise this hotel enough, my favorite in the whole of England. The history, the cleanliness, the style, the location, everything is exceptional.

Superb, traditional hotel with excellent service. All the staff were polite & helpful - especially the assistant manager. Our room (number 11) was very clean - so too was the ensuite bathroom - albeit a bit small but that didnt bother us as we didnt spend much time in there! It was a real treat to have breakfast served to us - rather than the usual hotel buffet - so our food was cooked fresh to order & hot when served to our table- oh & there's an excellent choice of dishes for breakfast too. We didnt take dinner at the hotel but the menu looked excellent with lots of choice - inc a vegetarian option every night too. If you're looking for a hotel with traditional values & excellent service you'll not be disappointed.

Everything was perfect, couldn't have asked for a better stay! The hosts were so welcoming, everything was spotless, the food was great! Honestly had the best time!

Without a doubt, this was the most beautiful and inviting place we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were spellbound by the immaculate decor and cleanliness that greeted us. Our room was an absolute delight - spacious, cozy, and impeccably neat. The interior design and breathtaking views from our window left us in awe. We could not have asked for a more delightful setting to unwind and soak in the picturesque surroundings. What truly sets High Cliff House apart is the warmth and kindness of the owners. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We instantly felt at home in their presence, and their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Regrettably, we couldn't extend our visit as much as we would have liked, as we were captivated by the heavenly breakfast. It was a delight for the senses, and we savored every moment of it. Rest assured, we have already vowed to return to High Cliff House for a longer stay. It's a place that has stolen our hearts, and we cannot wait to relive the enchantment and create more cherished memories. Thank you, High Cliff House, for making our stay an extraordinary one!
