Helgafell se nachází 6 km od Stykkishólmuru a nabízí zahradu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Všechny pokoje mají kabelovou TV s plochou obrazovkou a vlastní koupelnu. Jedno a nejlepších míst na naší cestě. Původně jsme měli zarezervované ubytování přímo ve městě Stykkishólmur, ale jakmile se uvolnilo ubytování zde, změnili jsme to a udělali jsme dobře. Poloha u jezera je úžasná, je zde spousta zajímavého ptactva, z nedalekého kultovního kopce Helgafell je nádherný výhled na všechny strany. Kostelík pod kopcem atmosféru místa jen umocňuje. Velice přátelský vítací pejsek (Molly?) se dostavil ihned po našem příjezdu a před odjezdem se s námi přišel rozloučit. Místo bychom doporučili fotografům a všem kteří se chtějí vyhnout mainstreamu.

Dalahyttur se nachází v destinaci Hlíð í Hörðudal a má restauraci, bar a výhled na hory. Na místě je dostupné bezplatné Wi-Fi. Gudrun is a fantastic host and displays great customer care in all she does. The waffles for breakfast are addictive, so watch out! I highly recommend this place!!

We were on a 2-week trip in Iceland for my hubby's 50th birthday and this was his favourite place. I don't think they knew it was his birthday but they treated us better than anywhere else. It is an impeccably-furnished, totally gorgeous historical guesthouse with wonderful staff, food and warmth. Our room was small but perfect and breakfast was delicious. The town itself is really lovely. Make sure you pre-book Sjavarpakkhusid (kind of opposite) restaurant for dinner - it was also glorious (see photos). Thanks for making this such a special stop on our Icelandic journey!

Very easy to find, the hotel is charming and cozy. Rooms are very warm, clean and there was a coffee maker and kettle which we found very useful. The staff was very accomodating and friendly and overall amazing. Highly recommend!

Found 23 km east of Snæfellsnes National Park, this hotel offers bright, modern rooms with private bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. Snæfellsjökull Volcano is within 20 minutes’ drive. Very remote location, the hotel was perfect. The staff was very courteous and we enjoyed the areas to relax around the lobby. Very beautiful hotel. Excellent food.
