Kaname Inn Tatemachi is set in Kanazawa, 800 metres from Kenrokuen Garden and 1.1 km from Kanazawa Castle. It was walking distance to almost all the places of interest. The room was spacious enough for more than solo traveller for the standard room. The toilet/bathroom was great. Bed is comfortable. There was enough hangings to hang my clothes. The table was big enough for me to put my necessities and still do work with my laptop.

Breakfast was alright. We loved the room, the hot tub in the room and the very helpful staff. And of course the Mt. Fuji view. We were on the 3rd floor, but we still got a good view of the mountain.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was nothing short of perfect — I have never seen such a dedicated, caring, and helpful team anywhere else. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and their kindness truly stood out. I would especially like to thank Mr. R. Yamazaki for his exceptional dedication. We had mistakenly booked a double room instead of a twin, and he went out of his way to ensure we were given a room with two beds. His effort, patience, and professionalism made a huge difference for us, and we are sincerely grateful. On top of that, the dinner buffet was excellent — delicious food with a wide variety of choices. It was a real pleasure to enjoy such quality and variety. This level of service is rare, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you are looking for a place where the staff truly care about your comfort and happiness, this is the place to stay!

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Everything! From the hospitality to the meals to the onsen. They made me feel like at home :)

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Excellent location with view of Mt Fuji and the lake. Very cosy and nice ambience in the hotel with live singing by the bar, a library full of books, free hot drinks in the morning and chilled drinks throughout the day. Both indoor and outdoor Onsens were good. With view of Mt Fuji. Bed was very comfortable in the room with little luxuries such as chocolates, Nespresso and quality tea bags. Balcony to enjoy the view was fantastic. Free bikes for rental to cycle round the lake-- such a great way to explore. Staff were all helpful and friendly with super professional vibes. It is 4 star small hotel instead of 3 star. Totally worth the price. Will definitely stay again.

Featuring panoramic views, 8 dining options and shops, Nikko Kanazawa is conveniently located right in front of JR Kanazawa Train Station. The concierge team headed by Kojimasan was extremely helpful and responded very promptly to our emails. Prior to our travel, they helped made all the meal reservations & on our check in, the reservations details & its location map and car parks were all handed to us. Room was spacious and very functional. Breakfast was great with both Int’l and Japanese quality selection.

The welcoming feeling at all times, the beautifully appointed rooms with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The dining experience both at the Kaiseki dinner and the Japanese breakfast each morning was incredible. We have never experienced anything like it before.
