Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Nice atmosphere for a Guesthouse. Basic food was also provided due to the location which is an exceptional service.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Excellent location and wonderful place. Exceptional service.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. I booked this hotel for my parents. When I asked questions by email, their staff reply very quick and kind. My parents were really happy about all the service they got, enjoyed the bath, dinner and breakfast. I booked ocean view room for them, they said the view was amazing from the room, and also they could even enjoy the night view from the dinner place. Seemed like all the staff there is very kind and friendly, they felt very warm inside and they had an amazing stay.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Everything. The hotel is on the hill and approx. 20 minutes by foot from the ferry but the property provides a shuttle. 7 minutes away from Itsukushima-jinja. If you want to explore the island more after the check-out you could store your luggage and take a shuttle later that day. Clean and neat. Welcoming staff, most of them have good English. Nice colourful yukatas to select from and a hanten. Tasty traditional breakfast with an instruction on how to eat it. Comfortable bed in a classic room.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei se nachází v destinaci Onomiči a nabízí bar a výhled na město. Chrám Senkō-ji se nachází 70 metrů daleko. The beautiful historical building makes this place really special and the location on the hill is incredible. We had a gorgeous view from our room, the staff were always kind and super helpful, the cafe is lovely and keeps good hours. Good WiFi. Great experience overall!

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. All the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty . I recommend it all.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Beautiful property. We had the half board with multi course traditional Japanese meals. They were amazing but yes, pricey. We wore our traditional Japanese. The hubby used the Osen and said it was fabulous. I didn’t go as I stayed with our 10 year old daughter who didn’t feel comfortable doing it. The staff was helpful and courteous. We left our bags with them on the day of checkout and they brought us to the ferry around 14.30.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Oh, Iroha…. Where do I begin? We were greeted by the friendliest and kindest front desk staff, both of the ladies were extremely welcoming and helpful. They asked about our dinner plans and book us a table at a wonderful place. As this was the first place in Japan with Onsen that we stayed at we were explained how to prepare and what are the rules. We went there in the late evening, it was empty and from the outside bath you could enjoy the amazing views of Itsikushima Shrine, just magical! Also we were given a free upgrade to queen suite which we did not expect at all and it was incredible. I could not recommend enough this place and staying at Miyajima Island over night in general. You can’t fully experience the unique charm and beauty of this place by coming just for few hours. Come for a night or two and stay at Iroha, I can guarantee it will be a highlight of your Japan trip! Thank you for having us!

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away. Skvělá lokalita, krásný pokoj, super onsen, milý personál.

Onomichi Guest House Anago-no-Nedoko se nachází 5 minut chůze od stanice metra Senkou-ji a nabízí postele ve společných pokojích. Nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a počítač s internetem zdarma. Beautiful hostel! Very comfortable and friendly staff!
