Despite my late check-in at 11:50 PM, the Ambasewana team greeted me with warmth and hospitality. They even provided a refreshing welcome drink, a thoughtful touch after a long journey. The resort's facilities are top-notch, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. My room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The serene surroundings and beautifully landscaped gardens add to the overall tranquility of the stay. Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The food was delicious, with various options to suit all tastes. The resort's location is also ideal for exploring the nearby attractions, making it a perfect base for anyone visiting the area. Overall, I am extremely happy with my stay at Habarana Ambasewana Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway. I like the many large glass windows that offer view of the trees, branches and leaves. It gives a feeling of living in the tree and a sense of peace with the birds tweeting and the occasional chipmunk scampering by. The chef is a good cook and whipped up excellent dishes nicely presented and served by the waiters. Sandun cleans the room well. The bed is comfortable. The whole premises is well-kept. As ususal, the host, Mr. Ajith, was welcoming. The manager Samee was always concerned and asking about the welfare of the guests.

The location of this property is awesome, in the middle of a jungle—a nice, calm, and quiet place to spend the vacation. A range of choices for food, and they were very delicious. The staff was amiable and helpful. Highly recommended

Absolutely incredible experience - a quiet, nurturing, caring place just 5 minutes of the main road. We were treated like royalty by all staff of this amazing gem - Athreya Ashram. Everything you can imagine to be in a 5 star resort was here, but in a smaller, more personal way. Dr.Thilaxi recommended all the Ayurveda treatments we can benefit from. Super chef-cook Nuwan - made the best roti and curries and best spicy daal. We are sure to return and already miss our morning yoga practice and personalized local trips, arranged by Dr. and Fonseca.
