The room was huge and the bed was super comfortable. The food was also very tasty. We had dinner both nights and it didn't disappoint. Staff were super friendly and attentive. This was one of our best accommodations in Sri Lanka. It was a little far from the sights, but everything was a short tug tug ride away. We would highly recommend this place.

The peaceful surroundings, combined with the resort’s attention to detail and exceptional service, made my stay truly unforgettable. The natural beauty of Habarana feels like an Amazonian escape—serene, refreshing, and full of charm. Whether it’s relaxing by the lush greenery, enjoying their delicious meals, or simply soaking in the tranquility, every moment at Ambasewana Resort is a memory to cherish. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway that combines comfort, nature, and heartfelt hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back—and next time, it’ll be for much longer!

Sungreen Resort Habarana se nachází v krásné ruině a nabízí lázně, venkovní bazén, fitness centrum a výhled na hory. Na místě je bar. Beautiful resort with extremely peaceful environment. Perfect for families to relax and enjoy! They have a wonderful pool which our 3 kids really enjoyed after returning from an early morning trek to Sigiriya Lion Rock. They upgraded our room for free and entire staff was smiling and super helpful. I even received a 15% discount on carbonated beverages on check out. The fish aquariums were stunning sight upon entry! All good things to say about the whole experience!

Absolutely incredible experience - a quiet, nurturing, caring place just 5 minutes of the main road. We were treated like royalty by all staff of this amazing gem - Athreya Ashram. Everything you can imagine to be in a 5 star resort was here, but in a smaller, more personal way. Dr.Thilaxi recommended all the Ayurveda treatments we can benefit from. Super chef-cook Nuwan - made the best roti and curries and best spicy daal. We are sure to return and already miss our morning yoga practice and personalized local trips, arranged by Dr. and Fonseca. Thank you!!
