We had a wonderful two nights stay in the cabanas. The guys that work here are wonderful - friendly, helpful and always keeping the territory clean and cosy. The room was clean and the wood makes everything look beautiful. Our room was without A/C but with a ceiling fan. Next time we would choose a room with A/C. Breakfast was very generous, local and super delicious. We did not managed to eat everything that was prepared for us. Guys cook amazingly! The distance to the city did not caused any problem. Tuk-tuk to the city costs ~1€ or so and the staff dropped us there couple of times for free. It was nice to leave all the noise there and get back to our jungle for night's sleep. We also got a chance to check-in earlier, thanks for that!

Exceptional customer service and absolutely beautiful tranquil rooms. Located within the wonderful Galle Fort, across from the ramparts and the sea. The staff here were the best in Sri Lanka (which is a big call because most of the staff we met were really good) and the breakfast was superb. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Once a Merchant home from the 16th century, Fort Bazaar is a boutique hotel located in the heart of the Galle Fort. Great experience and very good attention to detail and service was outstanding

Lovely hotel with breathtaking views overlooking the bay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The satff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with lots of fruits and variety of srilankan dishes.

The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... Wonderful building and an amazing room.

Very clean rooms and restrooms. Feet from the beach. Awesome breakfast. Nilmini provided in house laundry services and cleaned the rooms everyday. Good menus for lunch and dinner, very affordable.
