The ladies at the spa are so lovely and their service was fantastic. The food was great, so many restaurants and bars to choose from! The island is really beautiful and everyone was so kind and friendly. We hope to return one day.

Velassaru Maldives offers luxurious beachfront and over-water accommodation with uninterrupted ocean views. Hotel is like 20 minutes by speedboat from airport that is fantastic. Buffet is so so good, chef makes delicious food, and there are Tepanyaki and Sand restaurant that we tried besides Buffet and they were amazing as well. Ocean water is super clean and clear, staff proffesional and friendly.

Staff, namely Fathi, Maath and Zian were world class and made u feel completely welcome !

Plenty of available water activities. Scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, dolphin tours, etc. Nice kids club with lots of activities. Outside playground and water castle. Cooking classes. Rockclimbing wall. Karaoke. Game room. You have bicycles assigned to your room. We were riding the bicycles every day around the island. You just can't can't get enough of the nature. The whole island just feels so quiet. Most of the time we hardly saw any people during the day. It almost felt like we rented the whole island.

We had the most incredible experience at this resort. Everything was perfect. We loved the resort, the staff provided world class service and they went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. The food was excellent and lots of choice, the cocktails were perfect and we loved our beach house. The bed and pillows were so comfortable also. I really enjoyed my strolls around the island, chats with the staff and watching the sun set. I can't wait to come back. An extra mention to the baker, who made the most incredible pastries and cakes during our stay and the Cocktail waiter who has perfected the Mai Tai.
