We stayed in the heritage room overlooking the Square - and as described you need to climb the stairs to get to this room and the private rooftop area. There are not many places you can get to stay in a hotel with such history and heritage. Very happy with this hotel, and room selection. if you have mobility issues - this may not be the room for you - select an alternate room on a lower floor. Meals at this hotel were fabulous, loved the soda drink menu! i tried nearly all of them ! Meals are served in a very beautiful internal courtyard decorated with wood carvings and plants. Owners and staff were very very helpful with any of the questions we asked, and assisted us with our bags on arrival and departure; organised taxi to the airport (excellent rate). Located on a nice quiet square, and it was magical to sit by the window and watch the scene change during the day. Easy walk from this hotel to the other squares in Bhaktapur. Thoroughly recommend at least 1-2 nights in this city to explore and unwind. Excellent wifi at all time, in our room and in courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and will defintely be staying here again.

The breaksfast was outstanding and short of nothing. The location was a bit further out from the centre but given the bustling, loud city, this wasn't a negative.

El Shambaling Hotel ocupa una encantadora casa reformada de los años 70 situada en unos jardines paisajistas preciosos. Quiet spot away from busy streets, breakfast and room facilities. Heater works fine in the winter period and there is always hot water. Price is acceptable for the quality of the stay.

The Museum se encuentra en Katmandú, a 4,4 km de Hanuman Dhoka y a 5 km de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín y terraza. We had a great stay at The Museum during a return trip to Kathmandu. Saroj and Prakash were courteous and helpful from start to finish. They arranged airport pick up and took care of our every need during our 16 night stay. It was like staying with family, relaxed and homey. Our room had all the facilities we needed including a small kitchen, large water bottle (good to avoid lots of smaller plastic bottles) and a very comfortable bed. The location was excellent for easily getting around the city. Having Le Sherpa restaurant, Hokkaido Japanese restaurant and a super coffee shop right at our door was also a bonus. Saroj even bought us coffee on our final morning as we packed our bags. Thank you Saroj and Prakash. for such a lovely stay. We felt very cared for and hope to see you next time.

El Karma Boutique Hotel se encuentra en el distrito de Thamel, en Katmandú, a 1 km de Hanuman Dhoka. El establecimiento alberga un restaurante. The staff is very friendly. My friend did not realize that he left his bags in the hotel lobby when we headed to the airport. The hotel staff chased the taxi with his motorcycle to deliver the bags to us. We couldn’t thank him more.. The rooms were clean and nice with proper wet/dry area in the bathroom. You don’t see this that often in this type of boutique hotels in Nepal that often. We stayed in Kathmandu 5 nights and only stayed in this hotel one night. I wish I had stayed there more nights.
