The staff was very friendly and helpful with all my requests. The breakfast was simple but delicious. I would certainly recommend staying at Hiša Aleš when visiting Ljubljana and Kranj.

The hotel is super comfortable and nicely furnished - you really feel at home there. The rooms are very clean, comfy and are equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is amazing - great variety, everything is fresh and homemade - there's fruit, croissants, eggs, great bread, coffee, cereals, and more :) The owner is super warm and kind and will help you with everything you may need, you'll feel welcome and at home! Finally, the mountain views are incredible and you 'll breathe the fresh mountain air enjoying the extensive views! Definitely recommended! Located in the pedestrian area of the historic centre of Kranj, the 4-star Hotel Actum is a small boutique hotel decorated in a romantic neo-Baroque style. Very nice hotel - beautifully furnished, quiet, and ideally located in old town, Kranj. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Kranj is a an absolutely beautiful city. The museum at the castle is superb. Can't wait to return!
