We where on the way to Cape Town, and this was the perfect place for an overnight stay. Not far off the N1 highway so great location as well. Very friendly staff. Neat and tidy. Extremely well kept garden and pool area. No complaints

We loved the location being close to everywhere we had to be during our trip to Bloemfontein, and that even though it was close to everything, it was quiet and peaceful. We appreciated the bottled milk, rusks and water bottles that were in the fridge and that were refilled/replaced the next day. The room was clean and the beds and bedding were lovely. It was spacious and clean. Another bonus was the inverter that assured there was electricity available, even though loadshedding took place.

Decor of the entire guesthouse was very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Safe parking on premises. Great view of the mountains from the room balcony. Coffee station with daily rusks and fresh milk in the room. Breakfast was delicious with our own table set each morning. The hosts were warm and friendly and always made sure we are happy and comfortable. The hosts pay attention to detail and overall offer a great experience. Will definitely return.

It was beautifully decorated. And Minda the host was so attentive by providing brownies and rusks. The restaurant on sight was excellent with everything being made from scratch.

I booked months in advance in anticipation of the Clarens Arts Festival. It was a fantastic location and beautifully decorated room. The breakfast was scrumptious and changed daily. Plenty of hot water for showering. The TV had all of the DSTV channels. Mini-fridge available in the room as well. There was a space heater and electric blankets to keep warm with at night. Stacey and the staff were so helpful in directing me to Clarens from my start location and helped transport me to the correct location on the road for taxis on my way out of town heading towards Lesotho. She went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and ensured I enjoyed my stay. Would absolutely stay again, Clarens is worth revisiting!

And it is just around a Kilometer form the N1 Highway perfect for travelers passing through and its in a clean and Quiet Area of Bloem.

9 km from Free State National Botanical Garden, Tredenham Boutique Hotel is situated in Bloemfontein and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The hotel provided exactly what we needed, from the room to dinner to breakfast. The hotel is situated inside an estate, we had constant wildlife visitors (springbucks and other animals)

Located a 14-minute drive from Clarens, Kiara Lodge is set amongst the Maluti Mountains and offers a heated indoor pool, a spa and wellness centre and a children’s playground. I loved the cleanliness of the facility and it is equipped with everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend it to the families
