Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Beautiful setting and an easy drive after a day spent at Storms River mouth. Rooms large and comfy with views of the gorge. Plenty to offer: sauna, spa, pool, playground for kids - one night here was not long enough. Fantastic meals and a great wine cellar, the dining room with beautiful views of the gorge and waterfalls.

Offering panoramic sea views and a private barbecue area, Archrock Resort is located on the beachfront in Keurboomstrand, 14 km from Plettenberg Bay and 5 km from the Keurboomsriver. This property was incredible! Highlight of our time in South Africa. The location is about 15min drive from town but as a result feels private and safe. Market a couple minute drive away with all the essentials. Enrico restaurant is 5 min walk away (on the beach/boardwalk), great food lively atmosphere and great views. Beach leads to lovely easy hike along coastline. The property is clean, spacious. Well equipped kitchen. The view is exceptional - right on the beach, we watched dolphins every morning enjoying coffee on the deck. Host was quick to respond to any questions, check in and check out very simple and efficient. Laundry services provided (we did not use).

Breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and served in a nicely manner. The premises were great and perfectly decorated. Very nice atmosphere.

Moonshine on Whiskey Creek se nachází v lese mezi stromy a nabízí ubytování s možností vlastního stravování v dřevěných chatách, jen kousek od státní silnice N2 a 15 km od zálivu Plettenberg. A lovely house in the trees, with a view. Quiet, cosy, stylish and comfortable. Great veranda to sit out on, and eat or read. Very convenient for the beautiful Garden Route. We wish we could have stayed longer. All the houses on the property are well separated from each other and not overlooked.

I twice extended my stay at LaLaPanzi for a total of 8 days from 11th to 19th Oct. Tucked above the hills of a very quiet residential estate, it is a stone throw away the town's centre, restaurants, gas and convenience stores. There is also micro-brewery called Barrington's with a posh outdoor and indoor setting under 10 minutes walk if you choose not to drive. My room was very spacious, always spotlessly clean. Each room enjoys a panoramic view towards the bay. Breakfast was superb and it was something I always look forward to every morning :-) Most importantly, it is always the people who runs a guesthouse that matters. Henrietta / Rainer and especially the housekeeping and kitchen staff trio led by Cleopatra made me so very comfortable daily; from a hearty breakfast to a nicely clean up room each end when I return from my activities. They were all so very friendly and accommodating :-) Thank you everyone for making me feel so homely away from home ! I was frankly sad to leave. Will most definitely come back to LaLa Panzi in my next return trip to P.Bay ! (Eric - Singapore)
