The room is very big may be the biggest room i have in every trip in Japan. The Kotetsu table so comfy. Bath room very chill i bath the hot spring everyday day and night. Environment around hotel is very beautiful and peaceful love to walk around in the morning when sunlight hit the park. And the reception so nice they try so much to connect with foreigner. This makes me feel so comfy. I really enjoy this trip.

Excellent small ryokan next to one of the punting stations. Room was huge and had a view to garden and canal. Excellent dinner and breakfast. We noted that Yanagawa could have been a better place to visit Yoshinogari and Dazaifu than our next stay in Fukuoka - Yanagawa has excellent fast direct train to Dazaifu. Next time would stay more than 1 night in this Ryokan

The hotel and the onsen are spectacular! We stayed only for one night but enjoyed it nevertheless. The rooms are spacious and the garden is amazing.

Hirayama Onsen je 28 km daleko. *Hotel was located in a peaceful and beautiful mountain village. Our house was a detached one, which was huge, modern, spotless clean, very quiet and comfortable, with beautiful private garden. The design and lighting of the house created a feeling of calmness and relaxation. *Quality of both breakfast and dinner were very high and extremely delicious. River view from the large windows of restaurant was stunning. Watching at the picturesque river and greenery while enjoying meals was so amazing. *It was surprised that one of the young female staff, Aiko, could even speak fluent English. So, we did not have problems in communication during our stay. *Hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. They tried their best to make our stay comfortable and happy. The manager was so thoughtful. He changed the menu for our dinners every day to enhance feeling of freshness. The young lady, Aiko, was very helpful. She helped us a lot in our problem about phone card. *We have wonderful stay here.

On two floors with very comfortable beds, bed linen, a beautiful wooden bath, a large tatami matted space to sit, be and eat breakfast. The indigo wall hangings were a delight to have in the space and we booked an incredible workshop held by the artist who created the hanging to learn the process of indigo dyeing. This was very special. The staff were very welcoming, generous and exceptionally helpful with directions, booking activities and dinner reservations. They went above and beyond.

The room was very clean and nicely appointed. I had the dinner and it was delicious with beautiful presentation.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
