Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Friendly and helpful staff, responsive and waited for us although we artived very late. Great facilities in the botel.

This is the first ever hotel I am giving a 10/10. Honestly was the best stay ive ever had. The location was great, just across from the bus stop. The room was clean and tidy, Yukatas left in room for us to use. The host was so kind and friendly, she even gave us a larger Yukata to wear! The breakfast was an amazing mix of Western meets Japanese, and was delivered to our room for us! She even brought welcome tea and snacks to our room when we arrived as well! Overall, the best hotel stay of our Japan trip so far!

Tendon-san and his team were wonderful. So warm, friendly and fun. Our kids felt very welcome here and loved the whole experience. The cooking was amazing! So delicious. We could have stayed longer just to eat. Everything tasted incredible, especially the sukiyaki which was so soft and melted in your mouth. We all also loved the beautiful spacious room and outdoor bath. The rooms truly look like all the photos, if not better. And then there’s the temple. What a special place. No photo could really capture how Ryutakuzenji feels. You might just have to visit :)

The private onsen in the room is magical and quite big! It was perfect and enabled us to experience Japanese onsens as a family. The views from the room were amazing. The ryokan welcomes children and our son even got his own yokatta

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. We are impressed with everything about this property; Perfect location, welcome drinks, breakfast, private onsen, all facilities and all staffs

The ladies that greeted us were so adorable, the room vas spacious and very clean. We could choose the color of yukata and we could go to town and public onsens in it, also had baskets for towels. Breakfast is another experience in privet room that has a view on small garden. And charming older lady serves breakfast with many delicious thing in small plates. location for us vas perfect, ryokan is close to the Otaki no yu onsen, which we loved the most, and to Yubatake is 13 minutes walk.

We stayed at Kashotei building, and our room has a private onsen, which I highly recommend if staying as a couple. The room was more spacious than I thought, and there is plenty of room for luggage and bags. Pyjamas and yukatas are provided, which you can wear to breakfast and dinner, which makes the stay very cosy. There are welcome snacks and drinks available both in our room, and also at the lounge. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and of excellent quality, we enjoyed the in-season ingredients which are from the local area. Every dish was made with care and presented beautifully. The public onsens across the 3 buildings are clean, well-maintained and very relaxing. The buildings are connected and we didn't need to go outside to access them. Staff at check-in also provided us with a map and explained how to get to the baths. Excellent ryokan, definitely need to visit if you are planning to visit the region.

A real Japanese experience with all the necessary detail to make the stay unforgettable. The different baths super clean and with history. The meals offered were delightful. And the environment just as needed, calm, serene and peaceful.
