This is our first time in Japan and we landed straight for 4 nights in this great hotel. You get the full japanese experience when you land including traditional Japanese breakfasts and dinners, the dinners are amazing so take the half board. The rooms are big, beautiful and facilitated and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. It is located about 15 minutes by train outside of Kyoto but if you like to leave the crowds behind at night it's worth the commute.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. We like the location of the hotel.

Yumotokan se nachází na ideálním místě ve čtvrti Ogoto Onsen v destinaci Ocu. Chrám Enrjakudži se nachází 16 km daleko, Hora Hiei 17 km a Chrám Shōren-in 19 km. Everything! The facilities were very nice, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would go back again, it was very relaxing.

Marumo Ryokan se nachází v destinaci Takashima v regionu Shiga. Jen 46 km odtud je Chrám Sanzenin. A lovely experience. Friendly welcome, very helpful from the owner and his son. Room was large, comfortable, relaxing and very clean. We stayed half board for two nights and the food was magnificent. Nice baths. Went hiking in the hills one day, superb and took the ferry to the island the next and from there to Nagahama. Great trip.

Dantokan Kikunoya se nachází 5 minut jízdy od stanice JR Ogoto Onsen a nabízí termální koupel. Na vyžádání je k dispozici bezplatná doprava ze stanice. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

The staff was extremely kind and caring. There is a shuttle to and from the train station which is practical. The view was beautiful and it was very peaceful.

長浜城下 町屋ホテル 和乃リトリートひといき se nachází v destinaci Nagahama a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. Hrad Hikone je 14 km daleko. This was one of the best and aesthetically pleasing stays in my life up to this point. The tastefulness of the room aswell as the whole hotel was truly amazing. The minute I stepped in I knew I had to write something here. The staff also was immensly polite and friendly.

KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Hikone. Jen 2,7 km odtud se nachází Hrad Hikone a Vlakové nádraží Maibara je 6 km daleko. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. We had some delay in reaching the accommodations, but they allowed us to have our dinner right as we entered, before checking in. They also helped us to call a taxi to the train station on our last day. My mother left an item behind, and they kindly mailed it over to my address in Tokyo after we left! Compliments to the chef, the food every breakfast and dinner were so delicious, and my family and I got to try many local delicacies in the comfort of the hotel :) My parents also enjoyed their very first experience of onsen here!

Honmachi Juku se nachází v destinaci Hikone a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a sdíleným loungem. Hrad Hikone je 900 metrů daleko. Very cosy and welcoming. The area is very nice with the temple just beside it and a small garden. The ryokan is beautiful. The owners are very friendly people.
