I visited this hotel in 2019 and came back now, in 2024, since I really liked it. It was up to my memory and expectations. The owners prepared breakfast for me and that was lovely.

Amazing ryokan experience in a winter wonderland! Ranko-san was an amazing host who cared for our every needs. She even lent as snow boots for our winter hikes when she saw that our shoes was unsuitable for the snow. She was friendly and spoke English well. The rooms was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The onsen was big and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner was better than any restaurant we could find in hirosaki! Will definitely be back again :)

Kameya Hotel se nachází v destinaci Curuoka a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Kamo Aquarium je 3,5 km daleko. Amazing history and gardens. Rooms were enormous, with open views of the beach and with a cedar bathtub fed by hot springs in the room.

What a cool place! There were so many opportunities to taste the beer that was brewed locally on-site. From the drinks bar at check-in to the tasting room open all day to the all-you-can-drink plan at dinner, the hotel was really quite generous with their liquid offerings. Even non-drinkers are accommodated with plenty of alcohol-free options. We also liked that they had multiple private baths on site. The main onsen were also quite nice. The food was fantastic and the beef served at dinner was some of the best I've had.

Yuze Hotel se nachází v destinaci Kazuno a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na hory. Jen 38 km odtud je Lyžařské středisko Appi Kogen. The dinner was amazing - there was a station where the staff prepares a small dish on the spot for you. The onsen was eye-opening to say the least. It is located beside a stream / forest, and it was refreshing to soak in the onsen while listening to the stream flow by.

Takasagoya Ryokan se nachází v destinaci Zao Onsen v regionu Yamagata. Jen 200 metrů odtud je Lyžařský rezort Zao Hotsprings. The breakfast and dinner is traditional Japanese and is excellent and value for money. The dinner was especially sumptuous and was more than expected. It had a small onsen and for the more adventurous you can also use on of the 3 public onsen that was only steps away from the front door. It's exceptionally close to the ski lift - easily walkable even with gear.

Okawaso se nachází v Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km od Aizu Higashiyama Onsen, a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a restauraci. Všechny pokoje v tomto ryokanu jsou klimatizované a vybavené TV. To make it simple, everything! The staff is very careful, we feel the will to do well and the Japanese know-how! The room was just amazing, the view breathtaking! The dinner was amazing too, the dishes scroll non-stop for 1 hour, special mention to the waitress who took care of us she was more than perfect! We ended our evening with a private onsen, as a couple, it was perfect Thanks to the staff for doing such a good job

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room. Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it! The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning. We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English. We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time.

Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya se nachází 15 minut chůze od stanice JR Tendo a 50 km od Sendai. Nabízí přírodní termální koupele. Wonderful room with amazing private Onsen. The Kaiseki dinner was beautifully prepared and a unique experience. The Ryokan team always made sure to accommodate our wishes. We really enjoyed our stay even though our Japanese was very basic.
