Really nice hostel with good food, facilities and activities. All the staff are awesome especially Wisnu, Ryan, Gede, Jack and Nisa, thanks for making my stay so great miss you all already! The hostel is very clean and can become quite social but with a very relaxed vibe. Pretty good location and super easy to get grab or gojek cars/bikes around. This is the second hostel I’ve stayed at after staying at their sister hostel Arya last year and I made friends easy enough. They also give you discount at the spa and some of their other eateries.

Much busier than our last trip (years ago) but still very friendly and beautiful, very relaxing and amazing restaurants and scenery. We came for the yoga and healing and left very relaxed. Heartspace yoga is a beautiful little intimate and inclusive yin yoga centre. Indomai noodles for local cheap and very yummy food. Garden view restaurant right next to monkey forest for amazing food service and view. Plataran view restaurant absolutely beautiful at night. Gisella spa was a favourite for massage during our stay, staff always lovely.

The walks thru rice paddies and champung ridge walk , the stunning views of the river and jungle , fabulous culture and people , ,
Only negative with this place is the backed up traffic in monkey forest road , just a pity as it’s faster to walk anywhere than catch a ride in the Centre of ubud , fabulous eateries everywhere. Shopping brilliant to boot

Ubud is a great centralised location to stay to do day trips from. The biggest downfall of Ubud is the traffic. It is always bumper to bumper busy, so when planning activities - take this into account. Also be aware that it is an Instagramers paradise - and you will see hundreds of people looking “beautiful’ taking photos of themself. If you are into ‘being seen’ then this is the place for you. Lots of locations for the perfect “scene or foodie” snap. If you are into seeing more of the natural Bali or participating in adventure activities then this a great place to use as a base for a few days.

We loved the fact you could walk to so many things.
We loved the fact you could walk to so many things. It was easy to get to shopping, restaurants and bars. There were also things like the Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace and outdoor markets within walking distance. There was also so much to do.
We stayed in such a beautiful & spacious villa with private pool, the rate was very cheap due to the pandemic. There were only a few guests, that made us feel like we rented the whole resort. I am amazed by the landscape of the resort, with their own paddy fields, beautiful view, very quite and zen. I can’t stop thanking the staff as well as they were so friendly, always remember our needs and personalised our treatments. Moreover, the spa, massage and body scrub are top notch and luxurious in a standard price!
Absolutely everything is immaculately clean and well maintained , our room and bathroom was very big, with balcony. The restaurant offers delicious food for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores, made from local sources, as vegan it was the best food by far.
Quiet and peaceful while in 5 minute walking distance to downtown Ubud.
The Spa is worth a visit to get a Balinese massage.
Can highly recommend this marvel of hotel
We booked the 2-bed villa with private pool, which was away from the main hotel and very private. For the price, it was perfect. It was secluded and huge and had the private pool and garden. Staff were available on WhatsApp and incredibly attentive when needed - see below. Loved the massive terrace upstairs, as well as sitting area below. Water dispenser was a grateful inclusion, as was the kettle.
The SereS was an absolute treat. A truly luxurious resort with the best staff! My junior suite was incredible but the hotel manager was kind enough to give me a free upgrade to a poolside Villa. The Villa was exceptional. The location is in close proximity to all of the great attractions in Ubud but there’s plenty to do at the hotel; including a weekly traditional performance of Balinese dancers.
Staff is amazing, so kind and helpful. Puspita helped me with excursions and advised best places in Ubud.
Also the garden is so beautiful, very green and with animals, fish and birds. They have own temple as well. Hotel is ruled by Family that's why you can feel very cozy.
Of course Nyoman Liyer is the best🙏🏼
Thank you very much again, I will come back for sure🤍
It was the best hotel experience. The place is more than a hotel, it is a wellness space. The gatotkaca apartment faces the Ubud Water Palace, and from the balcony we were able to watch the performance that takes place at night. The staff is perfect, attentive and very professional. And breakfast is at Lotus Coffe, a beautiful and wonderful place.
Very very very friendly staff. We had a beautiful room with private pool, all very clean and great atmosfere. The whole stay was super relaxing. The area is just outside of the business of Ubud, so it is quiet and peaceful. The food was amazing, the coffee was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel! we loved every minute of our stay!
lovely place outside ubud in the middle of the Jungle. we stayed in the villa with private pool, which may be the smallest of all but you will be all by yourselves when you go for a swim. at night you hear nothing nur the noises of the jungle.
the hotel staff is the nicest we‘ve ever met.
food not haute cuisine but absolutely fine.
We stayed in 7 different hotels in Indonesia and this was definitely our favorite. The garden is otherwordly beautiful and the rooms spacious and even prettier than the pictures suggest. The bathroom was the best we have had in Indonesia. There is also a yoga space you can use. The location is right inside Ubud art market.
We had a room with private pool, which is terrific. The resort has been around for quite some time, but furniture seem well maintained and doesn't feel dated/aged. (compared to big chain hotels of similar age). Also great view from room and very sizable room
Then it's the beautiful scenery at the main pool, stunning.
The room design is very appealing. Our room included a private pool, which added to the comfort. Breakfast was "ok", nothing too special though. The AC system was quiet and efficient !
There are a few waling options from the hotel towards Ubud town across the rice fields. This is a nice experience.
Very comfy mattress, cute family run villa, beautiful gardens with a koi fish pond and birds. Looks exactly like the photos. Extreme value for the money, very central to markets, main shopping street. Similar modern look to 5 star hotels I have stayed in Bali. The family is lovely.
We have rented the 2 bedroom villa with private pool. The location of the Villa is great, 30 minutes walk to the Sacred Monkey Forest and to the centre of Ubud. Staff is really helpful. Very spacious, private pool was cleaned every day.
We loved Sakti Gardens. A beautiful hotel, the room was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. It was far enough away from central Ubud to be away from the crowds, but it was easy to get a Grab (and cheap). Highly recommended!
Everything was excellent. From the little details till the wonderful staff this is one of the best boutique hotels I have ever been. The breakfast and the afternoon tea were amazing. Our pool villa was incredible!
Pros:
Walking distance to Ubud main market.
Near restaurants, cafes, and other shops.
Property owners are very good and caring.
Price is very affordable compared to other big hotels in Ubud.
Nice and helpful staff. Very nice private Villa with private pool. Breakfast daily on the villas terrace. The location is good (Get the app Gojek - kinda like uber to get araound very cheap)
