Great location with direct access to a long and deep beach, great for walks and daydreaming. Good staff that need to be just a little more attentive to customers.

As long as you have a car (probably not really an issue) the aframe house is great to spend your vacation.
Everything is there, some restaurants within walking distance, some companies that offer bear and whale watching tours or even a flight.
The view from the living room is awesome, give the hot tub a try :)
Also the beaches are a must-visit from our point of view, much too cold for us but awesome to see and explore.
Set in Tofino, 1.1 km from Chesterman Beach, Hotel Zed Tofino offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

We enjoyed how the Hotel was interactive- more than just a lobby & restaurant.
We inadvertently forgot a small pillow from home,in our room when we checked out. Initially, the first time we phoned about it, we were told that it was our responsibility to arrange for shipping it back to us. The second call to Hotel Zed, the person answering immediately said that they could send it to us ~ no problem. We received it back yesterday. It may be just a pillow , but it has extreme sentimental value.
This Tofino oceanfront resort is just steps from surfing access in the winter and skimboarding and paddleboarding in the summer. Free WiFi is included, and most accommodations feature a flat-screen...

Heater didn't work. The stove didn't work for us ,but they did bring a new one. I told them about it. They replied with an email saying that they were able to make it work.
That makes it for me the first time and the last time that I will ever visit it again.
Tofino Resort + Marina is the ideal place to experience Tofino, Canada’s famous west coast surfing destination. Tofino is so much more than surfing though.

Friendly staff with great care. We took the seaplane so it’s really easy for us to get to the hotel. The room is well set for most comfort and the bed is very comfortable and I had the best sleep. The laundry is complimentary.

We thought the location was fabulous, the best view in Tofino overlooking the dock and inlet, out towards the sunset. The room was large and comfortable and had everything we needed. The little kitchenette was perfect for making breakfast. The shops, cafes/restaurants and boat/plane/kayak tour operators of Tofino were all within walking distance. The lovely beaches were a short drive away and there were bikes for hire if needed. Visit to the Tofino brewery was great. Free parking was a big bonus as it can be difficult or expensive otherwise.
On average, 3-star hotels in Tofino cost € 176.75 per night, and 4-star hotels in Tofino are € 179.76 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Tofino can on average be found for € 141.78 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Beautiful little town with excellent restaurants and art...
Beautiful little town with excellent restaurants and art galleries. Long and deep beaches to view and walk on, as well as easy hiking trails with spectacular views of the coast. Even spotted a few otters during our walk.

We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay.
We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay. Beautiful part of the country. Great food. Lots of outdoor activities. Took a boat trip with Remote Passages to see the bears and it was a fantastic 3 hours. Stayed at Chesterman beach which is a great location - Seafarer B&B (friendly, comfortable and quiet). Had huge breakfasts provided at the B&B and didn’t need to eat again until dinner! Had great meals at The Shelter and Roar (which is in the Zed Hotel) Restaurants. Drove 40 minutes to Ucluelet one day to walk tracks around Wild Pacific Rim. Fantastic photos - eagles, seal, landscape, rock pools. Lovely cafes.

Tofino is worth the drive.
Tofino is worth the drive. Loved the casual vibe of this remote surf town. In winter it was delightful. We went up to Ucluelet and did a walk. We surfed in very thick wetsuits, and we had a sauna on the beach. The whale watching in winter didn't seem to be so easy to find.

What an absolutely interesting place!
What an absolutely interesting place! And we experienced both a trees breaking, power outing ferocious storm, and some pleasant and moderately sunny weather. Our stay at the Tin Wis Resort was beyond our expectations. We look forward to coming back, maybe in the summer next time.

Visiting in the "off season" was very nice.
Visiting in the "off season" was very nice. Everyone seemed relaxed and there were no crowds. Lots of free parking available. Most stores/restaurants were open. Some of the tour groups were still operating as well.
Co-op was a great place for reasonably priced groceries, including a deli/bakery.
Trails were well groomed and easy to locate. Try to work in the Bog Boardwalk trail as it's a very unusual area.
People were still surfing/kayaking, etc.
I loved the West Coast feel, cozy interior, clean comfortable accommodations, gorgeous view of the ocean, sweet gift shop and coffee shop downstairs, spacious shared kitchen with everything you could think of, shared washroom, listening to the waves roll onto the shore as I fell asleep in the most comfortable bed. I loved it and I would go back in a heartbeat. The location was right downtown Tofino and easy walking to all coffee shops gift shops, ocean views, and hikes.
The lightstream camper was ok to stay in but the single rooms across the way were new and comfy!! The beach was clean and beautiful the coffee, Rhino, made in Tofino was FABULOUS!! The staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best to accommodate us and in fact went out of their way to get us into our next room as fast as they could. I would most definatly stay here again.
Location is perfect, right on McKenzie Beach and a nice walking distance to Tofino. The kitchen amenities are just ok. We were lucky that our cabin had a nice unobstructed view of the ocean. Most cabins off the beach would only have a view of another cabin, unless you’re on the upper floor. Staff was amazing. The cabin was very clean, and they have fire pits to sit around!
We lucked out on a last minute reservation at this spot in Tofino. This felt like a little home away from home and was quite cozy. Had a nice hot shower and wonderful sleep before heading off on our adventures. probably the best bang for your buck if you’re looking for a place to stay in Tofino. highly recommend
Every room has nice view. Ours had balcony also and the views are possibly the best in Tofino. Compared to other properties this is better value. Its very close to top restaurants or city centre. Staff is very courteous and the room was super clean , just like new. Would definitely want to come back :-)
Everything was wonderful. Easy to access, well-decorated, all the kitchen things one could possibly need. Free wifi. Beautiful outdoor space with lighting. Awesome location - can walk to beach and an outdoor mall with the best coffee place. Exceeded expectations.
Little gem in Tofino!! Good location, walking distance to everything. AMAZING view, waterfront. Good sushis with terasse downstairs. Cool and helpful staff. Parking on site. I miss it already, would definitely go back. Best for solo traveller.
Perfect location on waterfront. Walkable every where, no need to use your vehicle! Recently renovated, funky hotel. Great happy hour at their Bierhaus restaurant and nice courtyard patio ! Pleasant staff all around 😊
This hotel has one of the best locations in Tofino with a view of the Harbour. Rooms were large and had the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! I'm recommending this place to everyone!
Incredible walking beach which is 1st class. Room was ok at best....good view. Squeaky bathroom door hinge was very annoying. Inclusive breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and friendly.
there is sauna and hottub outside in the forest, nice style of hotel, disco room. bikes. lounge area in the forest, kids play ground and more!!!!!!5*********
