The room was abit tired and could use a refresh. The mirror to my bathroom was fogged over. The bed was comfy though. The room is cozy. Well located, 2 blocks from the MTR & one block from the harbour. Great views . The chinese restaurant was great.

The room is comfortable. We asked for a quiet room and we got a room next to the park and river. The pool is lovely and clean. The location is great if you don’t want to stay in the central of Hong Kong. It is right next to shopping malls, restaurants, trains and bus stations. Free playgrounds and payable softplay next to the hotel if you have young kids. Good bicycle paths along the river.
The staffs are friendly and helpful. We went for a bicycle ride and my young daughter had an accident. The hotel manager took us to the clinic so the nurse can cleaned her wound and checked by the GP. He even followed up and checked if everything is ok with my daughter later in the evening. He kindly gave two soft toys to my kids. I appreciate the additional care I had from the hotel.

Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture, to nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.

Great train network and cheap too!
Great train network and cheap too! You're able to buy Airport Express tickets online (and will get the same discount if you don't have an Octopus card). Have brekkie at cha chaan teng (delicious and cheap) and go hard on the yum cha of course. Recommend the Tram-o-ramic tour and hop on the Star ferry. Would also highly recommend catching the high speed ferry to Macau for a day trip or stay there a few nights. Love HK!!! You need at minimum 4 nights stay or longer ideally.

A unique combination of old and new, high rise skyscrapers and old buses compete side to side and from all this chaos, something beautiful emerges. A fusion of Chinese and European characteristics, a cultural melting pot that is truly exciting to experience.

The weather was bad when I arrived, so I really didn't get to actually complete my planned itinerary. I just checked out the weather every morning and went to not too far places and Disneyland since I already booked the ticket. Luckily, there was the MTR so despite the heavy rain I managed to go to various places without getting drenched too much, except on the day that I arrived. If you like strolling around without any plans or don't really feel the need to visit the most popular attractions, you can still visit cool places around Hong Kong. Google Maps should come in pretty handy when searching for places to explore.

HK has very good transport connections with the world and neighbouring places. Food is good but hotel tariff is much higher than the neighboring place like Shenzhen. Food is good. Service is efficient and friendly.
This is a very new and clean hotel in the quieter part of the city. It is conveniently located near several bus stops (A10 to the airport, 970X to Central and Kowloon, 72 to Wan Chai), everything works, the room was larger than the average Hong Kong hotel room, but still smallish by American or European standards. The staff speaks very good English. It is a great idea to stay in downtown for several days and then move to this hotel in Aberdeen to do some hiking on Lamma Island or along the Pok Fu Lam trail to Victoria Peak.
This is the third stay at the Kowloon Hotel in November-December 2023. The location is convenient and I can easily access the hotel after getting off the airport express from Hong Kong airport. The restaurants have a variety of Chinese and International cuisine. The staff are excellent. Lily gave me a VIP room on the 17th floor with a beautiful view of the harbor. I feel at home when I'm in Hong Kong. Thanks! Keep up the excellent service! Also, the hotel was decorated festively for Christmas.
I’ve been fortunate to have stayed at this hotel just 7months ago and the staff and amenities are consistently good. This hotel is well positioned for sightseeing and the beds and pillows allow you to sleep well after a busy day out. Oh, and if you want a coffee or tea or just a snack in the lobby cafe Lydia is the best hostess. Such a professional.
I highly recommend The Kowloon Hotel and look forward to staying another time when in Hong Kong. Thank you for my enjoyable stay once again.
The breakfast restaurant / coffee shop is excellent, and the dinner / lunch buffet offered - very popular with Hong Kong residents - is absolutely marvellous, and good value for money. Even if you do not stay in the hotel, you should experience this buffet !
The location is central, and with a beautiful view of the harbour area.
The staff and the hotel director are very friendly and client focused.
It's located at a very good place
Someone said it's not, but it has two ferry stations that can connect to North Point and Central . This can save time and give another experience to us.
It is also near to Whampoa that has some convenient facilities such as a big supermarket and so on.
I will stay at this hotel when I come to Hong Kong again.
Ah, the room is also big, and breakfast is also not bad.
I really enjoyed the fact my children and I felt safe, in a welcoming environment. The hotel is in a good location and we caught the shuttle a few times which was extremely convenient. The breakfast was delicious and fantastic variety. The rooms bigger than most in Hong kong and were extremely comfortable.bmy children enjoyed the lolly cart between 6-7pm
The hotel location is terrific convenient to go to anywhere by MTR (Subway). No need to worry about rainy days as the the hotel is just located and linked to the exit of the subway which is within in the big and modern mall . And this subway is linked to all the cities within Hong Kong and Kowloon districts.
Great location in Kowloon, just less than 1 minute away to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR. Facilities are functional and fair condition. Friendly, helpful staff. Good value for Hong Kong, with dorm beds starting around HK$200/night. A solid budget option, especially for solo travellers looking to meet other backpackers.
Room & beds were comfortable despite the hotel being a bit dated. I liked the traditional furniture, lots of storage space and provision of many electric sockets in the right places.
Very central location and we could easily wheel our luggage from Hong Kong station to the hotel. Strong, hot shower.
absolutely loved this hotel! so clean, modern and full of character. it’s a small room but great for a short stay. I really appreciated the extras such as the bathroom amenity kit and iPad. right next to yau ma tei station so it’s really easy getting into central Hong Kong.
The hotel has a great looking lobby! Spacious dining area and good swimming pool! The staff were courteous and helpful! They offer shuttle service to airport and malls. Hotel is conveniently located near airport and bus terminal going to Macau!
The location of the hotel was perfect,, very convenient and central and provided lovely Views of Hong Kong. As a long time residents of Hong Kong it was everything we wanted to relive out memories. The staff were friendly and so accommodating
The price of the hotel is relatively cheaper compared to those in Hong Kong city areas. Stayed here for 2 nights to explore lantau island and to go airport straight after my stay. The hotel is within walking distance to the outlet mall.
Short booking room for my friend who can't find the empty room during black weather night with a cheap price in Kowloon area. Everything of her room is extremely clean and she got the good service mind of host similar to me.
The breakfast was excellent - one of the best we’ve experienced at a 5 star hotel in Asia. Good location next to Pacific Place mall and walking distance from Central and Wan Chai’s Star Street precinct.
The location is good and you can walk around Kowloon quite easily from here. The Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (metro) station is also quite close so it's easy to get around. The room was decent size.
Hotel have perfect location. Building is nearby 10 meters of Exit C from Wan Chai MTR Station. Hong Kong exhibition centre, shopping malls and many restaurants and nightlife is near.
The location, the room and the good service of the hotel's staff.. This was the hotel we stayed in during our first trip to Hong Kong and it was also a happy memory for us.
