She went above and beyond to make this place homey it had everything you need and more. Really wish we stayed more than one night. She picked us up and dropped us off from the ferry terminal which was so kind and showed us around town. Pool was amazing and house was so cozy. Such a welcoming host!

Situated in Nelly Bay, just 50 metres from the beach, Island Leisure Resort offers self-contained bungalows with a flat-screen TV. The property also features a swimming pool and tennis court. Spacious and clean rooms, lots of facilities to use and enjoy. Friendly staff. Great location. Was a lovely stay.

Tropical Palms Inn se nachází pouhých 200 metrů od pláže Picnic Bay a nabízí klimatizované pokoje s kuchyňským koutem a vlastním balkonem nebo dvorem. This was a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. It was easy to find and just a short walk from the esplanade that has a few restaurants, a pub, a cafe, a brewery and a gorgeous beach with a jetty to fish off (or just watch the world go by) and a swimming net. Picnic Bay is a quite spot on the island but the busses run frequently and on time to get you anywhere else on the island if you want to explore. The man on reception was so friendly with a no fuss check in and super informative about anything we needed to know. The accommodation is small but absolutely spotless. Paths and gardens were clean and maintained, the pool was sparkling, the outdoor bbq area super clean and spacious and the rooms were just perfect, actually better than the photos. They had everything we needed for our night stay, we would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time.

Designed beautifully with the most amazing outdoor entertainment and pool area. Multiple outdoor seating areas, bar fridge, outdoor TV, heaps of pool toys, mini golf putting, playground area for kids, and outdoor shower - perfect!! Inside, there wasn't a single thing we needed that the house didn't have. An abundance of plates/cups/cutlery/glasses/stubby holders/tea towels/garbage bags...you name it, it was there. The beds were super comfortable and all rooms had air conditioning. The upstairs area was kitted out to sleep up to 6 kids with the coolest kids zone, equipped with PS4, games, books and toys. The house was spotlessly clean and presented like a show home. It's set slightly of the beaten track meaning no noisy backpackers or traffic noise. You could technically walk to Horseshoe Bay as it's about 30 min walk, but easier by car. To top the experience off, there was a sleepy, dozy Koala living in the tree across from the house - how good!! Can't fault anything about this property and can't wait to come back.

The "tents" were extremely well appointed and comfortable!

The house was spotless, and your thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. There is so much made available to guests, such as snorkelling and picnic gear and a range of board games. We appreciate your quick responses and helpful recommendations of what's to do on Magnetic Island. The accommodation is only a very short walk from the Maggie Island Brewery, which was an awesome place to visit, with great food and beverage options right at your doorstep. We felt very comfortable during our stay and the layout is very private, Rod has done a great job 👏 We look forward to staying again one day soon.
