I have been travelling through tasmania for 8 days and this was the only place i stayed at where the heater was turned on before arrival so that the room was nice and warm for me when i got there. this meant a lot. she even turned the outside lights on for me and showed me where to find my cabin as it was dark when i arrived. the bed was very comfortable and the cabin had everything you could ask for, even a balcony and heating lights in the bathroom. even had some free port available on arrival. all was clean and tidy and i was given great instructions on where to find everything. only 20min drive away from “The Wall” and not too far from Mt Field Nationalpark.

Located directly on the banks of Tasmania’s Mersey River, Discovery Parks - Devonport features a children’s playground and a games room. The location was lovely by the beach. Fantastic playground. Cabins were well appointed, comfortable and super clean

Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village offers self-contained accommodation, nestled in a rainforest setting with native wildlife throughout the property. An incredible place, with lovely, secluded views into the bush from our room. The furnishings were very nice. Staff was quite helpful. It was nice to be able to walk to the visitor centre.

It was a special and peaceful retreat in a cabin surrounded by the forest. Both the reception area and the cabins were beautifully designed. The fireplace inside the cabin kept us very warm—so much so that at night, we even left the window slightly open while the fire was still going. It was conveniently close to the Visitor Centre and Devils @ Cradle. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, but I’d recommend bringing enough ingredients if you plan to cook your own meals.

Cosy , clean and has pretty much everything we need. Host venue had welcome wines for us ! The bed and pillow were exceptionally comfortable , thank you. Perfect end to our trip to Tassie.

Very easy walk down to town and parking right outside.

Really appreciated the welcome gifts of wine, milk and sparkling water. Easy safe free parking. Highly highly recommend.
