On the outside you don't really expect quite what you get once you enter. The place is very new and modern, perfectly clean and tidy. And the views, those views of the nearby lake and the mountains in the distance are just out of this world. There are two big windows in the living room from where, sitting on the sofa, one could relax and breathe in the beauty of the nature. The place has everything one might need, plus even more. Aside from the full stack kitchen, the very comfortable bed, the nice bathroom and the good size living room, power sockets everywhere you need one, the owners have also provided a hair dryer, several board games, some additional hygienic products and a very easy to understand sorting of the waste with separate buckets, something that tourists need guidance as every country has their own rules. Of course, free parking is available in front. The villa is just 6 minutes away by car from this beautiful town at the sea, with its famous lighthouse at the top of a hill. Péninsula Suites is simply magical. The view is absolutely breathtaking — we stayed in Suite 1, which I truly believe offers the best view I’ve ever seen. Being there felt like stepping out of this world. It’s the perfect place to disconnect completely and reconnect with nature, the sea, and even the sound of the seagulls. I’ve never felt so light, so peaceful, so far away from the noise of everyday life. The interior is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail. Every material is top quality — even the kitchen towels and bed linens. The lighting, the layout — everything has been so thoughtfully curated. I’m 100% coming back, and next time for a longer stay. This is, without a doubt, the best place I’ve ever been. I recommend, recommend, and recommend again!

Pohodlné postele, pohodlné posezení v obývacím pokoji, celý byt navíc velmi vkusně zařízen.

Hvammur 4 with private hot tub (Fagurgali) se nachází v destinaci Drangsnes a poskytuje ubytování s možností vlastního stravování, s balkonem a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Lovely, cosy and spacious, well equipped cabin. The hot tub is a great perk (at the right temperature, not too hot and definitely not too cool) available 24/24. We used it a few times especially after the long drives through the Westfjords. Great location if you want to feel close to nature.

This was our second time staying at Nátthagi and it did not disappoint! It is absolutely one of our favorite places to stay in Iceland. Set in a gorgeous central location, this cozy cottage is a great base for exploring all that the stunning Snæfellsnes Peninsula has to offer. The Wifi is strong, the kitchen well appointed and the beds are comfy. Communication with the hosts was perfect and check in and check out very easy. Not that I wanted to check out. We were ready to move in! Looking forward to our next stay!

House in lava se nachází v destinaci Bifrost v oblasti Vesturland a poskytuje balkon a výhled na řeku. This was an exceptionally beautiful spot to find! I felt like it was a special opportunity to see the nature of a lava field, right next to a crater! We watched the sunset from the hot tub and slept so comfortably. It was great for my teens, who each had their own room after a week of much time together! We loved the photos on the walls. The house seems secluded, but is close to the road (but you can’t hear cars) and convenient to many locations. I would live here! Many thanks for the stay.
